Sometimes math class feels like a rout. A different path is usually referred to as another route.

There are a few spelling problems in this one. Perhaps you were in a hurry? "Ten thousandth" is misspelled a couple of places, and I'm sure you mean "a number like this".

Perhaps you missed the links embedded in my first shout.

I just wanted to add that my wife and I helped a high school senior with her algebra (fractions) by having her make a batch of Monster Cookies every weekend for several weeks. Each time, she had to divide the recipe by a different amount. (A full recipe makes 60 dozen or some huge number like that!) After this fairly painless tutoring, she raised her class grade quite a bit, passed the course and graduated high school. (While we were eating warm cookies, we worked other problems, too.)

If the punctuation/capitalization seems odd, remember that Blurtit's editor capitalizes the first letter after a period or a colon.

I Have Started A Website To Help Parents Tutor Their Kindergarthen Through 6th Grade Children In Math, I Would Like Parents Of Children In This Age Group (or Students Themselves) To Tell Me, Why Do They Find Math A Struggle?

What are their weakest areas. What stumps them? Is it the math calculations, or perhaps its the way the questions are being asked? Are they just going through the motions, but lack comprehension?
