I'm a 50-something keeper of the homefires.just learned how to (sorta) use the computer a year ago-now I usually spend an hour /day-looking for all kinds of info. I am a one finger typist,so I am slow on Q &A boards. doesn't mean I'm not interested,though! Boy, am I having phun on it! Takes me a while to answer -I'm hesitant in the discussion boards;I do try to read all,though. I spend much time in my yard-at the age of 57, I still have (more often than not) green /black knees and hands by the time I come in-at dark. Live in NW Fl.-or LA-the Panhandle.Have a wunnerful mate-of 38 years,3 chirrun,and 2 grands. Traveled a bunch with AF husband-lived on both coasts and most points between with a few years in Europe(Netherlands). Still have many friends from everywhere. Try to keep in touch.Home of the heart is S.C. I'll get back someday-I refuse to die in Fl.Put husband through school and Grad-while moving all over the world-finally went back for me at the age of 40-have a degree in political science with a minor in english-not much use today!Thought about going to law school but my only brother promised never to speak to me again if I did. Am interested in almost everything-love the `semantics of language and will willingly play devil's advocate just to get a reaction...work with emotionally/mentally challenged children.Have since I was 15-my 1st summer job. camp for above.Try to be a kind person,but have a dry/dark sense of humor-or so I've been informed. I read , garden,have owned a restaurant-never had so much fun killing myself,but won't do it again.Politics is a passion-volunteer at child advocacy,local animal shelter.I am owned by a fat cat and 2 German Shepherd dogs who all think they are people.(Sorry,Cesar)
