i,m single, widowed many years ago with one son who graduated h.s. in 07 and one daughter who will be in class of '12. i normally work full time however am unemployed at the moment and dont have many people in my life who are interested in the same things i am so thought i would try a chat room.

i am a firm believer in christ as our savior and feel closest to Him outdoors. don't have much use for organized religion for way too many reasons to go into here. havent studied the bible much tho do have a 'flip threw knowledge of it, just think it is too convoluted to be of use in day to day living. i am also interested in some kinds of divination arts as tools to use for guidance when i cant see the forest for the trees so to speak. i love the outdoors though am not into working hard at enjoying it...i dont run or ski or... whatever but i do enjoy walking ,bird watching, animal watching, my binoculars are probably my favorite thing. i also like to think and be challenged at that, but not really in a competetive manner, just keeping sharp. i love to read all kinds of books from novels to poetry... in fact dabble in writing poetry for myself and close friends/family. i really love to listen to 50s n 60s country music and am not musical in any way except i can play the radio and operate a cd player if its not too complicated. very dry sense of humor and very quick witted and like people who can keep up.
