Hello fellow Buckeye! I'm originally from Ohio, lived in the Toledo area for the first 27 years of my life (small town too--Maumee) but haven't lived there since '85. Just a general idea if you're comfortable saying, about where in Ohio do you live? I still have many family members there but find it too cold in winter and too hot in summer to live there now.
Don't be afraid of what your doctor will say - they will be seeing this kind of thing every day, believe me! Tell your doctor that you have had this for 7 months and were too embarassed to make an appt before, they are used to this and will feel very sorry for you! It's VERY COMMON! Loads of people get things like this, even babies and nuns, so no-one's going to start accusing you of anything naughty! Be brave and get it sorted, you will be so glad when it doesn't itch any more.
