I am a full time college student , just graduated last May from Copiah Lincoln College with my Associates of Arts degree, and transfered tp Mississippi College to persue my Bacholers degree in studio art with focus on ceramics, and Minoring in Communications. Imagine that... a degree to play in mud all day....lol. My passion is ceramics, pottery in particular. I have recently become interested in sculpting of clay, Ive already done 3 sculpted simplified heads, a anatomically correct life sized skull. And am currently working on a life sized portrait sculpture bust of my daughter. I love to create on the potter's wheel. I have been making pottery for about 2 1/2 years now and am hoping to set up my own studio this winter. I recently purchaced my owm pottery wheel and I have a possible kiln lined up... if its the right kind, and the right price. I will hopefully get some pictures of my latest work posted if my camera will cooperate.
I have 2 Kids.. Daughter is 20, in college, and a very talented musician, and majoring in Music, Minoring in Journalism. My Son is 16 and is in high school and is learning to play the drums (oh boy...lol). Theyre great kids.
I have 2 dogs, A sweet Pitbull named Buster, and a Golden Retriever named Canon... he was named for Pachelbel's Canon in D ..my favorite classical piece. We also have 2 cats, MissPooka and Lucky. Lucky is aptly named as he has dodged the bullet three times and is still here to tell about it.

Due to the immaturity of a lot of new people that I have made the mistake of making friends with, I have decided to NOT accept anymore friendship requests for a while. This decision is in NO way meant to be snobby or "stuck up" but to preserve my own sanity and eliminate the hassles that I have had lately. I hope anyone in the near future who sends me a request will read this FIRST, before clicking that tab that says "Add as a Friend". It is nothing personal against ANYONE, but for personal reasons.

I have decided to keep my friends list small.Those who are on my friends list are just that... FRIENDS, People I can have a converstion with, people that I have something in common with, people that have me on THEIR list because they want to be FRIENDS, and not just collect names. I dont mean to sound snobby, or be ugly about it, but if I dont feel I have something in common with someone I wont accept a friendship request. If I turned down Your request, its nothing personal, I just dont think we have enough in common to build a friendship. I have kids of my own and all the drama and problems (as well as Joys) that comes with the job, I will not except friendship requests from anyone under that age of 20..... When I want to talk to a kid, I'll talk to my own. If I have accepted your friendship request and you NEVER send me a shout, I will delete it. This message will be posted weekly in my shoutbox for those who dont read a profile before sending a request, and those who read them, but still cant respect the wishes of the person who's profile they are reading. If you send a request without first sending a shout, It will be denied, as it will be a show of youe disrespect for my wishes to not add friends at this time. If you do send a shout before a request, I will consider it, if i see we have something in common and a chance that we could actually have an intelligent conversation. Thanks.
