About Me
My Interests
I don't mean to be a "knowitall", but if you are interested, the french world chérie means dear or darling, in a tender way, like honey or sweatheart. Chére means expensive, or simply dear. The masculine words are almost the same, and have the same meaning; chéri and cher. Amour means love( pure love) - mon amour= my love. This is a masculine world and it's the same whether you use it for a man or a woman. And to say mon amour is indeed a VERY romantic way of addressing your sweatheart, whether you say it in in french or in english. Take care!
By the way, in my "research" on the internet I found out that there a numerous of frenchspeaking people that agrees with me in the use of the word "amour". I actually didn't find anyone who agreed with you. You would probably say that I havn't done my reasearch well then. But I have actually done a lot of it. Also, I've found distantcourses in french, spanish and italian to learn the languages properly. But I do think it's a lot of fun to have joind something lika this, what do you call it, a "site"? Take care! Until next time!
They do for me, for about a year they came to a tree in my yard. Crowing all day, well my house burned down, I lost my weenie dog of 10 years;-( Ever since then, only birds of bright color have been around my new home I had put back right where other home burned!
