I like to take the fear of the IRS out of as much of the IRS experience my clients have to suffer through to get right with them again. Income tax should never have been taxed in the first place. It goes against our capitalist system and we can get plenty of tax money from foreigners who want to sell their products to this vast consumer market,
I not only enjoy politics but see staying informed as the greater part of voting and being a good citizen. A rat can pull a lever (and many do), As voters, we are expected to actually know why we are pulling the lever for someone - hopefully not for some cheap reward like a government check or because it is time for one race or another to be president. Hopefully, we are better than that as Americans. If not, I expect our country will be taken over by better capitalists; ones we borrow ever more money from to give away to our citizens - for votes by borrowing from America's enemies, like China who is covering all the ridiculous bailouts of lucky capitalist ventures and so-called private companies our elected officials decide should stay above water. Private companies are not owned "by the people" or the government. But now, since the big G will now be a major shareholder, they will be now not be so, "private!" (don't we have a right to look at the books of "our" companies?)

I also like to kid a lot and am usually laughing or smiling about something or other. That got me in trouble a lot when I was in the Marine Corps, as one may imagine.

helping people with tax problems with the taxing authorities. Its what I do for a living and because I like to help people understand that the IRS agents aren't like the gestapo! After all, they don't wear guns! (well, yes actually many do but they don't pistol whip you or anything with them - its mostly just for show!)
Seriously though, I play the piano; blues, some jazz and, of course, good ol rock and roll. I play classical but usually only when I am a bit melancholy.
I love a good cigar but have no problem going for half a year without a smoke. Living in MN and not wanting to bother my lady, even though she is fine with my smoking inside, I don't smoke in the house except under an exhaust fan once in a great while when it dips below -10 or so outside and there is a good wind. Can't really enjoy a cigar in the wind. To really enjoy a cigar, its best to have somewhere to sit for an hour or less, outside on a nice day, with no wind - but a very gentle breeze. Man that is great! I don't inhale but I used to smoke Camels and did then. Great tobacco! But not so good on the lungs and I like to breathe while working out so... I figure others do too so I don't bother them with my smoke. Now if only they could be as accommodating we wouldn't have so many problems with people that only want life their way and are totally intolerant of any opposing ideas or views or the freedom to be an individual. No wonder liberals are always so angry! Everywhere they look they see someone violating their system of morals. You have to feel sorry for people that are so UN-American because the live and let live deal has worked so well for us for over 220 years but the Marxists want to institute a NEW moral code called political correctness. It is far more restrictive than the religious and moral codes before the later 1960's when the socialist hippie devolution hit our country. It was caused by the kids of the WWII crowd who never had any real problems to live through any more so they had to make up problems and then they blamed them on their own country and have been trying to undo it ever since. Finally, after FDR, LBJ and a liberal congress just about nationalized 50% of our country, Obama and the democrats in DC should take us over the line into a totally socialist country by the end of his first administration. And the lowly non taxpayers will vote him in again when he promises them another check from money taken from "rich white people!" so that makes him a double saint to them.
