I would start by putting out soft food, and then gradually adding hard food to it. Make sure that you don't eat where she can get to your food. As time goes on, you can add more hard food to the soft food until it is mostly hard food and then stop the soft food altogether. It will be better for her teeth too. Because it will clean the palque and tartar off the teeth. My sons cat is going through this pain right now, and she isn't too happy.
