Thank you,Specialist.Ithought farting would be a reaction to the mebendazol, which,to begin with,I was told was a reliable medication for intestinal parasites such as worms.A friend of mine who has some experience with cats, told me that my adopted kitten would surely have worms, because the cat was eating constantly, with very short times between meals, but no diarrhea or vomiting. So following my friend's advise I got a 30 mililiters bottle of the medicine in question,in a concentration of 2.0 grams per 100 mililiters.Recommended dosage was 2 mL (4mg) three times a day,for three days. That's 12 mg a day, times three days=36 mg.It was very difficult to get the cat to take his medicine,so I settled for one dose of 2 ml a day for a week instead. His appetite decreased right away to a more normal rate.I almost finished the 30 ml bottle which contains 60 mg of mebendazole, which is more than the suggested 36 mg (4mg-3 times a day x 3 days).Would you think it is enough?
