My response to the "Buy American" debate was for freek show. I wasn't saying you were confused, and your comment was pretty much in accord with what I said about Americans demanding higher wages. American companies deserve to make a profit, but that shouldn't be what this country started to be about. They can make profits without destroying the American middle class. You get what you pay for.
