Hi I wanted to answer the question about the scales on the horses legs they are called chestnuts they are actually like finger nails left over from when horses were 3 toed animals millions of years ago do not remove them it is very painful to them.

This is a hard thing to navigate. My suggestion is first, you dialogue. Get answers, facts. Insist on them. Then trust your gut. It is possibly the best compass that we have in these situations. In the end, you have a decision to make. Either way, you MUST be able to trust who you are with. There is work to be done whatever the answer. I wish you the best.
