Hi bianca..nope am not going through bipolar but my bf has BPD-1 and i just wanted to see if there are others out there..i have not yet spend much time with him to see a dangerous side to him..but he has type 1 so that means he has hypomaniac episodes where in he will feel he is like God..will be very hyperactive..will be unable to sleep..might have dangerous habbits like spending money irrationally, indulging in sexual liasons indiscriminately..trying to do too many things at a time..but it can be controlled with proper cocktail of meds..its very important to consult a health care professional and seek proper guidance and medicines..which he is doing..so hopefully this relationship will work out..its too soon to tell..incase you need more support you can go log into http://ehealthforum.com and see the postings on bipolar disorder there..they are useful information and also doctors are online to help you with your queries..hope i have helped you out
