Yes, I agree with you. That is the driving force behind starting my own business, and working from home. But, in todays society, the average person would not know what to do if all businesses were closed for 3 days. People generally take everything for granted. What if there was a fire? Sorry, fireman's day off. Someone got injured? Sorry, Dr's days off. Power failure...sorry! And all those people in hospitals, nursing homes, needing 24 hr assistance? Sorry. Not to mention (okay, I did) the expense. Is everyone willing to pay more for food, clothing, utilities, etc... due to the added labor force needed to cover all the jobs that would require 24hr attention? So, to have government dictate to us that businesses will be closed 3 days a week, is not in our best interests. Some people need to wake-up and join reality. Dreams and fantasy are great, as long as they are acknowledged for what they are.
