If you see him i would wait for a brief eyecontact then go up to him. If you wait until he is alone or maybe NOt in a group you will feel more comfortable. The key is to act confident (even if you dont feel it) and just say hi and then say "see ya around" or something to that effect. If you keep the introduction brief it won't seem as if you have an agenda. Even though you do;) Good luck and remember guys are often more shy and scared than you are.
