You did not say were the rash was on you, but on your child it is in areas that are exposed. Most likely it was some thing you came into contact with. I would first stop scratching and touching it. Wash your hands often. I would try putting Betadine (pharmacy) on it. Betadine will kill bacteria and fungus both. You could alternate with applications of Benadryl Gel. If you don't see any improvment with in 24 hours or so, I would recommend a doctor visit.

Just got back from Cleveland,Ohio..got bumps that are rash like..look like pimples at first but once I itch them they get itcher and now our spreading and my little 2 yr old has them also on legs and Neck area...What is this??
