Jesus said that the love that we have for our brothers, sisters, family, and friends, must be as hate in comparison to the love we have for him. Jesus must come first in our lives. Any one else that we put in front of him would be considered an idol, and jesus said in the ten commandments, " thou shalt have no other gods before me."
