Honey, if the friends are doing or saying things to hurt you, then you should tell them that you don't like it, it makes you feel bad, and you really wish that they would stop. I feel that being honest is a great trait to have.
I am sorry that you are going through anything like this dear, and words are a very serious thing, I mean, like when you tell someone that you are happy, they can take that to mean that there isn't anything wrong or bothersome to you at that time.
