Hello...I have a roofing question ..on a metal roof that does not extend or meet the fascia board and the wooden strips that attach the roof are rotten the pitch of the 12 foot roof is only less then 12' drop ..I backed the screws out put a drip edge under it and the rain still pours under behind the fascia board...should i use tar paper and try to extend the roof?? I am a single mother just trying to fix what a friend was paid to do yrs ago...I just figure things out I am not a carpenter by any means...Help please!!!
