Oh, yes---rotary dial.Β  I remember the ones from my childhood that didn't have the curled cords between the base and the handset---just a straight cord.

East meets West---one of the unavoidable side affects of living on a sphere.

Hug a plumber?---OK, but on his way in, not on his way out.

I remember the rotary phones. I used to dread having to call someone who had 8s and 9s in their phone number. It seemed to take forever to dial those numbers.Β

Rotary phones πŸ“žΒ  I do remember them. At first for years they were all black and would really hurt if dropped on your foot. Heavy!Β  I still have one of course it no longer works.

Plumbers- Just had the pleasure of having one in my house this week. I was really happy to see him when he arrived. Not so happy when he was finished.
