Unless you are traveling in some time that isn't too far in one direction or another, I doubt it would do any good except maybe to take pictures. Technology changes so quickly. 4g phones came out less than 10 years ago, and they are now working on making 5g.

For making calls ... It would only work if you traveled to a time that you already owned the phone.
I might take it with me though ... And then use it as a "prototype" to get the patent, and come back to being a billionaire. LOL
