Hi I'm a 16 year old girl and I love dancing. I have always wanted to do competitive dance, but my dad didn't have the money. I live with my mom now and she said she'll pay, but other dancers start really early. Is it even worth it now?

Follow your dreams! If you wanna dance and your mom can afford it... Go for it! (Unless it's like ballet for 4 year olds specifically. Then I'd find a different dance studio.)

I would say age 16 is the perfect age to start competitive dancing i believe if you start too young it gets boring for the youth i highly support you to follow your dreams and do it if you mother can afford it . It's never too late to start something that could very well turn into something very amazing and i wish you all the best if you should decide to start and don't let anyone bring you down or stand in your way i believe dancing is a good thing and it keeps your mind busy!!!
