Do you know any one with triphobia? (A phobia of a pattern of holes especially in skin. Or a cluster of seeds, cooked Mac and cheese standing up right, etc)

Good question, Yin! I've never heard of this before. So my final answer is: No.

A word of warning... looking it up online will give you the willies and heeve jeevies! I never heard of it till someone I know said she had it. I thought I would be wise and help her face her fear cuz it's "just pictures online" right? Nope! I ended up fighting my own taste of triphobia! 😄😅😂 Its a slight one... almost like one of those things "once you see, you can't unsee" so you tend to "see" it more often. 😝

Never knew it existed.

I can understand the skin causing anxiety cause that might have a direct health concern but patterns elsewhere eludes me when it comes to reasoning for it and why the fear.

A control issue maybe (?)

I wondered the same thing. That's why I figured I would be fine looking at the images. There is something really disturbing about them though! It's crazy. And then because others know there are people with this phobia they photo shop patterns of eye balls in cheeks, hands, etc. I would compare it to similar feelings of someone getting queasy over watching a surgery or seeing pictures of illnesses or blood or something gory.

I have a problem with patterns of certain Groundmeat i buy,  it's got to not to look funny cause i am strange on whether or not to purchase it i don't know maybe mines OCD ?  Also, i purchase sausage if it appears to be different pattern , i will put the package down and get another one with different pattern that i agree looks safe . So my thing is worrying about food safety.
