Yes I think they do, even though we don’t always understand the reason.

Normally I would say yes. But sometimes I just don't get the reason.
Yes some times god opens up our eyes like my mom would say.
Yes---but unfortunately the reason for something like Trump's election is stupidity.
And I don't think stupidity reliably produces good results.
Although, if one is given lemons, one can sometimes make lemonade.
