Turkey.... My dad's turkey and who cares about the rest!!! 😅 Oh wait... My dad's rice Krispy treats! Those are so requested by family members during the holidays he has to actually MAIL them to those of us out of state. Not me though... I'm driving to California just so I'm guaranteed dibs on the first batch! 😅😅😅😅

Oddly, on a side note... It's my dad's turkey that I somehow got lucky enough to almost make my turkey just as good as his! It's the one thing everyone brags about Yin's cooking. 😊

At Christmas there is something for everyone. Sometimes not so traditional. Ham, turkey, shrimp, steak, meatballs , stuffing, mashed potatoes , breaded cauliflower ,pumpkin roll and other desserts . I know I'm missing something. But if someone leaves hungry it's their own fault.

Turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, hot rolls and butter, cranberries. For dessert, pumpkin pie and chocolate cake.

Similar to Thanksgiving, but usually with ham instead of turkey. So green bean casserole, cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes, and sometimes pecan pie instead of pumpkin pie (which is for thanksgiving). This year we're making thinking of having goose instead of ham, though.
