What goes through your thoughts when you hear about melting glaciers?
I read the excerpt of a woman's writings from the late 1800's. I cannot for the life of me remember who. She had traveled across the US and a few years later traveled back east. And she had passed a glacier both ways. She had remarked how much it had receded in the 5 or 6 years since she had first seen it. This is also the beginning of the industrial age. We have been doing damage for over 100 years.
