Infrared sauna sounds ridiculous; why someone would pay to sit in a room with a bunch of heaters. Couldn't I just put some space heaters in a shed and call it a "redneck infrared sauna"? Lol

The radiant heat from your Jacuzzi® infrared sauna surrounds you and penetrates deeply into your joints, muscles and tissues increasing oxygen flow and circulation. ... It is the far infrared energy that is most beneficial, penetrating the skin and increasing circulation to help rid the body of harmful toxins.

When turned on a properly functioning, it would be described as "hot."

Otherwise, it would be close to the ambient temperature around its location.

If there’s one word to describe the experience it’s the word “gentle.” Unlike traditional saunas that operate at extremely high temperatures, a Far infrared sauna helps keep your body warm through Far infrared rays that penetrate the body at low temperatures. Another key difference between conventional saunas and infrared saunas is the way warmth is transmitted. Conventional saunas can heat up to as high as 90 degrees Celsius and the process involves using hot steam or air which will then heat your body. This isn’t the case with a Far infrared sauna which directly warms your body and not the air while operating under tolerable temperatures.

After an infrared sauna, you’ll find that you’re more energized. The gentle warmth that you feel will keep your energy levels up.  The positive effects of an infrared sauna are also associated with better overall health because of other great benefits like weight loss, better sleep quality, clear skin, improved blood circulation, detox, and relief from joint and muscle pains.
