I've never been on a plane before. So when you're above the clouds during a sunset, does it look the same as looking at the sunset from below? (Colors, fluffyness, etc.)

It looks really cool, kind of the same but kind of not. You can find pictures online just Google sunset from a plane. :)

No, it’s much different because of the eerie darkness of space above you. It depends if you are headed toward or away from the sunset. The reflected colors of the clouds below are somewhat less vivid than you might think, but stand out against the deep blue-blackness above you.
