This picture was taken outside of our local Walmart (not by me) of mothers and daughters selling Girl Scout cookies. It's probably safe to say that it is not endorsed by the Girl Scouts of the USA.

I completely agree with Lard a$$! I hate what the fake media has done to the psyche of the people. It saddens me beyond words! I went to Wal-Mart yesterday showing my kids that this is historic! The looks on the faces of the people 💔 and then the sweat on the forehead of the MAYBE 18 year old employee trying to keep UP with the hysteric customers grabbing the boxes of food he was trying to put out! There are FOOLS buying baby formula not because they have babies or kids... But because powdered formula can sit on a shelf long and they can use it as a meal if they need it down the line. And in the meantime there are starving infants with now diapers, wipes, medicine and now formula! The fake news media PISSES ME OFF BEYOND WORDS!

Retailers around here are putting signs on doors that say toilet paper is non-refundable in case people try to start returning it after this whole mess eases up.

I think that is a brilliant idea! I think all stores should say that! It might make a person think twice before hogging all the rolls! I saw a picture posted of two ladies each pushing a cart, going to the same small car/trunk trying to figure out how they are gonna fit ALL their over stacked bulk sized toilet papers into the vehicle to get it home! I'm hoping the greed of these ladies is a misunderstanding on my part and that they are just taking their TP to a homeless shelter or a hospital! But I doubt it. Grrrrrr

People are stupid.
People are also reflexively fearful, short-sighted, selfish, easily misled, only hear what they want to hear, ruinously over-generalize, and are adverse to hard truths.

We see blame placed at the feet of all media, as if blaming the messengers actually defeats the message, but really only abdicates one’s own ability to discern fact from fiction. This is also why people believe obvious falsehoods, submit baseless claims, and worship imaginary characters.

Same this side of the Atlantic. Two observations: (1) If you ask people not to "panic buy", they immediately assume there is something to panic about and do the opposite. (2) It's a short-term (and very welcome) increase in sales for many supermarkets, climbing out of winter.

It is freaking ridiculous. I needed like a 4 pack, and can't get it. We were at Sam's Club and they had a 45 pack. (Five 9 packs) We gave two packs to a friend.

Crazy. I'm back at my parents' house for the time being and we had trouble finding any here (we were actually running out). We went to one store where people were waiting in a long line to get it, another that had none at all. We ended up going to a small store and buying two 12-packs. That should last a while.

If you really need a few rolls find a marine supply or RV supply shop or check out the Camping supplies section of large outdoor stores.  They have rolls of TP specially made for RV "black tanks". The paper dissolves quickly. It is a little more expensive but "panic" and hoarding costs ya.
