We used to have a pet spider. His name was Fred. (I dunno how we knew that, I think he just told us.) He'd disappear for a year or two every now and again but always came back. Made us believe in reincarnation because his name was always Fred.

Have not noticed too many besides these mosquitoes last time I was out back. I recall my Grandmother had a fake hornets nest or some type, to trick wasps or bees into going elsewhere if I remember correctly. They like making holes in the deck especially the Grape Arbor beams above.
