Are there any uniquely themed festivals in your area? We have the Tug Fest, a tug-of-war across the Mississippi River.

There are only a few I know of in North Carolina. There is the BBQ festival in Lexington. Statues of pigs line the streets, so I'm told. There is a fruit festival, apples I think, in Mt. Airy. We have a few things in Southern Colorado.  Next weekend is our Early Iron Festival.  More than 600 cars displayed on the grass in one of our parks.  Hot rods, rat rods, classic cars, and trucks from 1920 to 1975.  Beautiful vehicles.  Then being Southern Colorado we have a yearly Green Chili cook off.  Categories … Read more
