Being a good friend means being supportive . A real friend is a person who helps in times of distress and sticks closer than a brother or sister. Friendship is not begrudging or forced so continue to be kind.

It's impossible for you to help everyone as you stated.

It's also unrealistic for you to think or want everyone to like you  Not going to happen.

You may have set the wrong goals for yourself. You can not expect everyone to like you. You would be better served if they respected you.  That would be something that you can better handle.
