If someone offered you the opportunity to learn to do something amazing that you wouldn't otherwise get to do, like learn to speak Chinese in earnest, and they even offered to do it with you so that you wouldn't have to try to do it all alone, wouldn't you take them up on it?!

Mandarin or Cantonese? Actually for me, it does not make a difference as I will probably never be able to afford to go to China (and its a bit late in my life)  I would love to learn Spanish however! Or better French!
