The Middle East is partly in North Eastern Africa  (for example Egypt is in this region), and by some definitions you could say Turkey is in the Middle East, which would make Europe another continent that the Middle Ease could fall in.

Technically ... If an American citizen doesn't have a valid FEDERAL-accepted form of ID, they can't enter the US.  (Nor can they even travel by air within the US.)
