Nearest hospital is 10 minutes away, but I am fortunate and my wife drove me when I needed to go there. But transfer to another hospital took about 20 minutes. (didn't cost anything, but we have Alberta Health Care here. Even my heart operation didn't cost anything, and my monthly blood tests are free.)
