4 pm. It normally takes 7 hours for caffeine to leave your system. I usually have enough trouble falling asleep that I don't need the added complication of caffeine. If I do drink later than that (usually if I am out and about) I will get a decaf.

I was diagnosed with T2 in 2009.  It was very overwhelming for a while.  I suggest you start with him seeing a dietitian.  Then he needs to understand that if he isn't already getting good daily exercise, he needs to start.  The dietitian can give him lots of material to read .  I found these … Read more
