Well pick the colour depending on your personality because if you go for yellowyou are a happy bubbly girl, If you go for pink you are a true girly girl if you go for blue your a down to earth girl and If you go for purple you are a genraly a really cool girl!
According to me, I would go with a neutral color. This way if you decide to change your drapes or bedding it will still match or blend and you will not have to repaint again. Some neutral colors may be a light brown, white off white, light gray, etc.
