A riddle! People come and watch, from far away to see Burning brightly, almost catching fire, The colder it is the hotter I’ll be. Then I die. What am I?

My answer is leaves changing color. My thinking is that they change from green into bright colors of red, orange, and yellow, like fire, people love to see fall colors, the colder it gets the brighter the leaves, and then they die when Winter comes!
