We've always gone in the fall and winter. Earliest was a short cruise to the Bahamas. Latest was March from the Left coast thru the Panama Canal. Did one just before Christmas, and that seemed to be the least crowded. Lots of vacant tables at dinner. Weather for all of them was fine.

I would like to help you answer your question, however I would need to know where you are going and if an international destination to get onto the cruise and what passport are you using?
If the cruise is to the usual places from here no visa is required you will need your passport for ID check.
