I cope by avoiding public speaking. If I must do a public speaking I focus on one person or object and forget about the rest of the people.
Of course I do, there are many lessons to learn and mistakes to avoid by reading history.
As others have said the older I get the more interesting it has become. I think as we get older our world gets bigger and we want to understand it more. It also helps to be able to visit places of history, and want to understand.
