Aaliyah died on Saturday August 25, 2001 in a plane crash after shooting her video "Rock Da Boat".  I loved all her songs, especially her earlier songs.  She was also an awesome actress.  She played in Romeo Must Die & another movie I forgot the name of.  She will be greatly missed, but not forgotten
