How Do I Make A Complaint To Barclays Bank?
Answers
Barclays Bank is not the kind of bank that does well with complaints in my experience. If you have a problem with any aspect of their operations, you can of course go into any branch, if there is one close by and speak with one of their managers. Don't be fobbed off, if you feel its important, have your say. I doubt that it will get you far unless you have been seriously aggrieved.
In this past, I would call up the telephone banking people and speak to them, but they are not wonderfully gifted with the English language and so find it rather difficult to help you, since they are simply looking for key words in your sentence to try to help you with. Don't bother with that.
You can also write to them, but I would try calling them on the Barclays Bank customer relations line, where they are used to dealing with this type of thing. This is their address:

I agree with all of your comments, now I understand why I have not done business with them for 40 years and it will be another 40 years (god and the Ombudsman willing) before I do it again.
