When Will My Hens Start To Lay Eggs?

I have a black rock & lohan (both 19 weeks) a buff orpington & Rhode island red (both 17 weeks) a Maran and a light Sussex (both 10 weeks). Any ideas when they will start laying eggs? They all seem very healthy and have been together for a month so should be settled! They eat layers pellets and free range around my decent sized garden - eating plenty of greens. Estimates seem to vary massively. I thought point of lay was about 12 weeks. Please advise?!

Some people have reported that pastured chicks start laying as early as 16-weeks.  I hope my April chicks will lay by labor day.  The standard estimates are 24-weeks.  Heavy breeds are slowest.

Labor day? Are you raising hens in the USA? I am in the north of England so your weather is going to be way different/better than mine! Good luck with yours, hope you get some eggs soon! This is a comment from Ant01, converted it.

Almost all chickens start a six months old, like my cousins plymouth rock chickens, they are gorgeous.
