When And How Did Ernest Hemingway Die?

On July second, 1961 Ernest Hemingway killed himself with a self-inflicted shot gun wound to his head, right above the eyes. Hemingway had suffered several complications due to his hereditary diabetic condition that ran in his family. It causes a damage to the pancreatic functions which leads to depression. He had committed suicide exactly three weeks after his 62nd birthday. He rested the butt of the double barrel shotgun on the floor of his home, leaned over to the muzzle of the gun placing it right above the eyes and pulled both the triggers. Eventually, judged not responsible for his death he was buried in a Roman Catholic service.

He died on July 2, 1961 after suicide of shooting himself. He was very depressed due to sickness, which led him not able to write, therefor, he shot himself
