Harry Potter is a book series written by J.K. Rowling. The books are about a boy named Harry Potter who, as a baby, survived a death curse from Lord Voldemort, one of the darkest wizards of all time. In doing so, he somehow made the curse backfire and Lord Voldemort disappeared. Because of this, he is famous in the wizard-ing world, which is why he is sent to live with his aunt and uncle (who cannot do magic). At the age of 11, he receives a letter informing him that he has been accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The series of books continue through his 7 years of Hogwarts and his adventures with his friends as they try to defeat Lord Voldemort once and for all. I suggest you read it if you haven't, they are amazing books!
