Is Piercing The Nose Painful?

It varies from person to person and if the piercer knows what they are doing. Everyone handles pain differently. Which area are you getting pierced? I have my nose pierced it didn't hurt and it brought a tear to one eye... Not like crying from pain, but something that happens to most when they get their nose pierced. I have not had it done, however my mom did. She and I both had our tongues pierced but I could not go through with the nose piercing. The thought of it scared me. Although, I think it looks beautiful with a tiny diamond stud. Anyway, my mom said it was the worst pain. Not to scare you away from it. Some people don't have a problem with the pain. What hurt her may not be bad for you. If you want it go for it. Pain doesn't last forever ! ! !

I personally dont believe it is painful., but then again i can handle pain., i have 10 piercings and to me none of them hurt., i have 3 in the lobes of each ear., one in each cartlidge., my nose., which i did myself., and my belly button! I love all my piercings and to me NONE of them hurt you just have to have someone who knows what they are doing!!! ♥

I think that that nose hurts more than the belly ... I got my belly and nose pierce and the nose hurt  more then the belly..

YES! Well mine hurt horribly, but as others have said, some people take pain better than others. I had my lip pierced 2 days ago, and that didn't hurt at all, and I've had tattoos done that didn't bother me, so go figure...

NO, the nose piercing did not hurt at all; it didn't even tear my eyes.....I'm 56 years old, and it didn't bother me one bit. So, if you are thinking about getting it done......go-for-it.

Nah i have had it for a month and a few days. It hurt for a few days but i got used to it.

To me it just felt like someone plucked a nose hair.. It kinda made me tear up in one eye for a second.. But that was it..

No piercing you nose isnt painful..
I did mine by myself like a year ago and the only thing that hurt a little was the last layer of skin.
But my friend got hers done at a tattoo shop and she said it didnt hurt at all
