There are certain procedures that need to be followed to get the dairy product processed. The first and foremost treatment is heat treatment. With this treatment, the shelf life of the product is improved and it also makes the product safe. The other method that is also very important is acidification; it is used to suppress the growth of bacteria. The process is important because if it is left as it is fresh, it may happen that pathogens are produced in it and that can be harmful and it is for this reason that processing is considered important.

The whole process is called pasteurization and after the completion of the process, it is important that it does not get contaminated and packaging should be done in such a way that contamination can be avoided.
