    Dogs of all ages and breeds can be affected by parvo but puppies are more prone to have this infection. Parvo in dogs is caused by a virus called canine parvovirus that is contagious and spread from affected dog to healthy. Most common symptoms of parvo in dogs are
    1. Vomiting
    2. Diarrhea with or without blood
    3. Dehydration
    There are no curative treatment available for parvo in dogs. All treatments are done to control vomiting and diarrhea in order to avoid dehydration that can be fatal if not checked. Immediate visit to vet is of prime importance is your dog has parvo infection because first 24 hours of attack are very crucial and majority of the deaths are reported during this time period.
