Does Talking To Plants Really Make Them Grow?

Yes, that does help. Because God made you in his image, you have the power to encourage their growth. I decided to test this, and I made three groups of plants: One I talked to positively, one I spoke negatively to, and one I talked to not at all. They all lived in the same condition, and the growth totaled as this: The plants I was nice to were the top, then came the ones that I didn't talk to, and lastly, the plants I talked negatively to. So, talk softly and nicely to your plants, telling them that they'll thrive and get strong, and they will do just that.

Well yes, if you talk more to them, it shows that you are nice and caring towards these living things, and they would grow to be very tall indeed. On the other hand, you could play some music for them to hear. According to some scientists, plants respond positively to soothing music and they even grow to the place where the music was generated. So, plants does grow well with sound and plentiful of care.

I think that it does work because when you speak to them you give them C02 which they use for photosynthesis ( photosynthesis is when a plant uses C02 and sun light to make food for themselves)

Yes because plants thrive on carbon dioxide which is what our breaths expel when we breathe out.

The urban myth that talking to plants actually makes them grow is not that far fetched as one may think. The reason that the plant may grow better is not that it enjoys listening to the sweet sound of your voice but for completely other reasons. According to ScienceNet, plants actually need carbon dioxide to grow, and when you talk to a plant, you breathe on it, giving it an extra infusion of CO2. However, it has been argued that even there is scientific theory behind the legend, the infusion of CO2 that you can provide by breathing on the plant is far too small for this to have any real effect on the growth of your plant. The idea of talking to plants was introduced in 1848, when Dr. Gustav Theodor Fechner, a German professor, suggested the idea in his book Nanna (Soul-life of Plants). He believed that plants were capable of emotions, just like humans, and you could promote healthy growth by showering your plants with attention and talk.
