A word of advice.... Teachers are mandatory reporters so if your issues have anything to sexual abuse, child neglect, or criminal activities (I believe that is one) then they have to report it to authorities. That being said it depends on you. You have to make that judgement call. Its not a matter of her breaking trust, it is a matter of law that she reports if it is due to those things i mentioned. You need to talk to someone and get help if that is the case. But there are other people not in a "mandatory reporter" position you can talk to. Good luck and I hope it is not the things I mentioned going on with you. 🙁

One of my teacher once said this to me:  "Always tell a teacher when there is something going on in your life, no matter how big or small or bad or embarrassing it may be.  They won't judge, and they may be able to help you."

Teachers legally have to keep any secrets you tell them, unless your are in danger of physical or major psychological harm from anyone including yourself, family members or that stranger that's stalking you, then they have to tell someone.

Of course, it's your decision.  I don't know what's going on, but it always helps to talk to a teacher.  If you're feeling overwhelmed or scared, or just like you want someone to talk to, it would be good to talk to one of your favourite teachers.
