I ordered the ab circle pro on June 6. Well I also noticed that they advertised it for the thirty-day trial of $14.95 but then turned around and took extra money out of my account. When I got a hold of the customer services they gave me the same spill about the shipping and handling fees, which was an additional $34.95, and was not mentioned when I initially ordered the product. I started to reject it when it was delivered because I saw a problem already developing with their customer services. Nevertheless, I went ahead on and received it since I had already been charged for the shipping and handling, which is "Non-Refundable". I began using the product and I actually like it. I think that it work well. The first couple of times of using it my neck felt a little sore, but then after getting used to it I started feeling the workout in the areas that I should. I noticed some shavings after using the product from the roller wheels and the ab circle pro surface so I just put some oil on the surface of the machine to fix that problem. The knee pad area does turn, but it hasn't been bad enough to the point that I am sliding off of it. I would suggest to anyone that is having a problem with their knees to wear knee pads or place additional padding in the knee area. This may also help with the sliding. As for the product, I would recommend it, but just know that the customer service will not be the best! The customer service is my only complaint. Oh yeah, and if you do decide to send it back, there is an additional $34.95 shipping and handling fee. In my opinion, the product is not really worth $200.00. Maybe $45- $70.00. I may just keep it because I honestly think it will be more of a hastle to try to send it back, besides I like it and I can continue to use it for as long as I like.

I think I will just wait until it comes out in stores, the price lowers, and the quality of the machine itself is upgraded... If that happens.
It sounds wonderful and fun but with the way today's economy is, I am not willing to slap down that much money for a piece of plastic poorly made and attached to rollers that don't hold the plastic on, while putting a hole in your knee.
Kudos to those who this product has worked for so far.
My husband is an engineer and said this product should have been planned out a bit better before offering to the public.

Ok i bought the machine b-cuz the my son wanted it.. To tell you the truth it is built very poorly.. The plastic feels like it gonna break after you use it for like a week or so.. Now to return it u get some1 from another country who insists on charging ur credit card & has no idea who much we have to pay to ship it back so i decided to check with UPS of course & it's like 80 -100 bucks.. So between the $34.95 initally to ship which was suppose to be $14.95 they just forgot to mention the $20.00 handling fee yah you got that right $20.00 for them to handle the machine & ship it to you. So ok it's half way paid for when you look at it like that.. Since it's $200 bucks which they dont tell you either... This is just another way to fool people .. AND yah i got sucked again... Take care & remember dont be suckered like ME...

I have had this for about a month now. I do it on the most difficult level for about 10 mins every other day. I got it off HSN which offered free shipping and a 15% off coupon code so I ended up spending about 160 and did not have to deal with the company. Overall I am happy with my purchase. It is easy to do while watching tv. I can see where knee chaffing could be a problem, but I either wear capri workout pants, or I cut the top off a pair off knee socks, so I pull those up around my knees when I am wearing shorts and they work just fine. The other thing I realized is you must control your motion on it to get the ab workout. If you just swing your entire torso, you will get a workout but it will not feel as targeted. If you really make an effort to keep your torso centered and use your abs to swing your body, you get a good ab burn. My only complaint is it is cheaply constructed. The paint on the red disk is always wearing off into a white powder which I must wipe off, and my knee pad has already cracked.

I thought it might be worth maybe 75 dollars. They dont tell you the price on t.v which I found to be just a tiny bit deceptive and a bit gimmicky as well as annoying. I guess being a responsible consumer, I like to know details like cost, weight, dimensions etc. But 200 dollars plus? NO WAY! Probably made in China as well so should be about 40 dollars.

I've had the ab circle pro for about a week and so far so good! I know it's probably still a little early to leave a review but it seems from other people's reviews that they noticed right away they didn't like it. I have not had many problems so far. I don't understand what people mean when they say the red paint on the disc is coming off where the rollers are. I was a little undecided about ordering this when I read that because one person said it prevents the rollers from rolling smoothly because of this. And once I got mine, I was even more worried when I saw that the red disc is nothing but cheap plastic that looked like it would crack under any amount of pressure. But then I realized the rollers don't even touch the red disc and it only rolls on the steel outer edge that surrounds the disc. One thing I did to mine to make it roll smoothly was I applied a little petroleum jelly onto the rollers where it hits the metal bar and now it works great. Yes it is a little hard on the knees but I think any exercise that requires you being on your knees will make it uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I still think they could've done a better job with the knee pads. They should've made it with thicker padding on a steel base and with a gel material on top. I'm hoping eventually they'll come out with a better knee pad and I can just switch it out since the knee pad is basically just screwed on to the machine and comes off easily. I did notice when you have this on the highest tilt, it's a little harder to stay on the knee pads without sliding. Because of this, I'm searching for some rubberized knee pads that will prevent slipping. Other than that, this machine is a lot of fun! I like that you can watch tv while using this. It does take some concentration and practice though because if you don't control your movement, your basically only using momentum and your arms to swing back and forth and that won't work your ab muscles. I also love that you don't have to be on this machine for a long time and you feel it. So far, I don't feel like this machine is as flimsy as most people are saying. I seem to have no problem having this support my weight and I don't feel like this is going to collapse underneath me at all. But then again, I only weight about 100lbs so that might be it. I'm not using this as a weight loss tool, mainly for toning my abs and butt. I bought this on Walmart's website, I had it shippped to their store which is free but still, with tax it came out to $220! Yikes, for that kinda money this better keep working! Hope that helped.

Sorry this is a bit off the subject, but BEWARE all the As Seen on TV ads always have a low price and rip you off with shipping and handling. And it is never clear and non-refundable. You can find As seen on TV products on ebay and the seller decides on S&H. Just put in As seen on TV in the search box.
I bought it about a month ago. I'm in great shape except for my stomach and I wanted a targeted workout. I think this machine is fabulous and worth every penny. I've already noticed a difference in my stomach, my arms and my bottom. There's different settings, different targeted workouts and all of them are easy to understand.
If I could only have one piece of equipment, this is the one I'd choose. It was easy to put together and I don't have any complaints about it's quality. Compared to my treadmill, it wasn't so expensive and I think I get a better workout on it.

I was interested in trying the ab circle pro. After reading the reviews, I will stick to working out at the gym. FYI.....when I order something online, I get one of those prepaid credit cards. That way, the company doesn't have my debit card information and they can only deduct the amount that I put on the card.

Hi,I haven't used it myself because I believe that you can do abs exercises without buying a machine for $200. However, it did seem interesting so I read a lot about it. I suggest checking out this review because it painted a pretty bleak picture:
http://burnmybellyfat.com/ab-circle-pro-review.htmlHowever, I also read some good things about the Ab Circle, so I guess it's anyone's guess, really

You could probably get much better results from one simple trick that I use to get toned abs + maintain them.
What you do is, tighten your abs while you run! It's as simple as that. I usually run like crazy for 1-2 minutes (with abs pulled right in), then I rest for 5 minutes. I repeat this for about 30 minutes or so.
THIS WORKS SO WELL! Running while pulling in your abs is the #1 fastest way to get flat toned abs. After not working out for like over half a year, I was packing fat in my mid-section. After 2 intense running sessions, I was seeing ab definition again!
Of course, if you have a lot of flab, it will take you longer. If that's the case, you should do this while you're at home doing your daily chores. When you need to pick something up, tighten those abs, then pick it up. If you need to twist your body in ANY way, remember to pull your abs in!!
I'm no fitness trainer, but I believe this technique works SO effectively because you're giving your ab a harder workout by twisting, moving, and turning. And the great thing is, you don't need to do anything special -- you're just tightening your abs while you do the things you usually do. I'd say it's even better than doing crunches. If you've been doing this right, you should feel your abs are tired and sore the day after. That is a sign IT'S WORKING!
Also another secret is that you should work on toning your BACK. Everyone thinks they should do more crunches, but it actually looks better and you get flatter abs faster when you focus on toning your back muscles (makes your front look flat and lean, not bulky).
Hope this helps :) You don't need to buy anything.

I have had it now for a week. At first it was very questionable-after I gave it a few days I really like it and feel it in my buns, thighs, love handles & abs (mostly love handles area). It takes a little practice to get the 'swing' of it to ensure you are targeting the right areas and using the right form. At first the only places I felt it were my upper arms and my knees...oh sore knees! The correct form has solved my sore arms and small towels folded up under my knees is the only way I can kneel on it. I haven't noticed any weight loss or firmness but I haven't looked either. I just feel better knowing that I am trying. Worth the money? I don't know, it's pretty expensive but I need to target these areas so I am going to keep it and hope I continue getting the correct form for the best possible results.

I have bought an Ab Circle Pro and after a week I am not at all impressed.
As a flexible, fit but not trim individual, I find that I don't get any particular muscular workout at all. I certainly don't "feel the burn" as Jennifer keeps saying on the complimentary three-minute workout video. On the highest level I do get SOME cardio work out of it, but no results that I couldn't get from a ten minute walk. There is also a severe diet recommendation that comes with the pack, but as I have a special condition I'm unable to comply with the guidelines.
I am willing to concede that I may not be using the product correctly: However, the support is non-existant and I have had to resort to forums like this one to answer the questions I have - such as, if I am feeling a bit tired in my arms but have no "burn" in the abs, is my positioning correct? What am I doing wrong? (My husband has checked me on this against the video, and he can't see a difference in what I'm doing and what Jennifer does.)
In case it was just me not working "hard enough", I used the AbCircle throughout my favourite TV program (of 30 minutes) and found I was sweating at the end from the exertion - still no burn!! Despite the swivel action in the leg supports, I wound up with rather painful "carpet burn" skin on my knees.
As mentioned, I've only had it a week: Already there is "wear" on the rim of the machine where the leg supports attach to the stability plate. I'd hate to think what this would look like and what maintenance it might need after a year.
If you are like me and don't have time for the gym, but want to "tighten" those areas, I'm finding that my painfully slow, regular floor excercises are still achieving better results. >sigh!!<
I've crated my Ab Circle and will be returning it over the next few days if I am still unable to find any support - I will follow up this post if I get any trouble from the company about returns.

I called to order today & CSR tried to seel me everything underneath the sun. The commercial was still on (though I saw it yesterday & googled it thoroughly.) The ads, both today and yest., said if I ordered now, I would get free expedited shipping. After taking all my information and being mad that I didnt want to buy a SECOND ab circle at 30% off for my non-existent hubby/child, the rep says deliv. Will be sched. For a few weeks and I said "at the beginning of the call you said expedited shipping, as does the commercial I'm watching." She said, "yes, in a few weeks." I said "a few is 3 or 4." A couple is two and that is the most expedited shipping takes. Then I said, I feel like this is bait and switch, because I chose not to buy the digital cal counter, the extra machine etc. Maybe special shipping only applies to those who spend more than the trail, shipping and monthly payments...like those who buy the $39 digital component and other options...she started to stutter and said "i have to ask my manager." She came back on the line and said my order didnt qualify for expedited but then she said I would get the "expedited" order in a few weeks. (By the way, your trial starts 30 days from the day they SHIP. Mt trial would be 1/2 over if it took a few weeks to arrive! Cx order because if ordering was a hassle, I can't imagine what a return would be like! Waiting to find one on eBay.

Hi, got my ab circle pro 2 weeks ago. All I have got since using it is sore knees, sore back and have been unable to walk properly for 2 weeks. So bad the pain went down to my knee and now I have a sore knee. Doesnt work your abs, only your lower back and arms. Will be sending it back. I paid $29,95, but was told if I keep it I will be billed for 5 mths at $79.95, which is $429.95 in total. If I send it back within 30 days, I get my $29.95 back.
Not a good machine I feel. I have just bought a treadmill, which Im sure will work more muscles than the ab circle pro.
Cheers

You are so right their customer service sucks and it really is sooo over priced plus a bit of a scam. I entered my credit card and did not finish the order yet I was charged for 3 ab circle pro. This is what they do usually you can cancel an order before it ships but ab circle pro tells you that they are not able to see your order for 24 to 48hrs so you can call back and cancel it then BUT HOLD ON!! BY THAT TIME IT HAS BEEN SHIPPED SO NOW YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR SHIPPING & HANDLING plus you have to pay to ship it back. I am going to report them to the BBB you should all do it too. I too kept the one to try out for "30 days" im sure they will play me again about my refund. Well the other 2 are downstairs waiting to be picked up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. ALL THAT MONEY AND ALL THE HASLE IS DEFINATELY NOT WORTH IT. WHO CARES IF IT WORKS WHICH I AM YET TO FIND OUT.

I just received my ab circle pro about 2 weeks ago and have been using it roughly 6 minutes per day since then. I am not a fitness pro or anything but I can make some comments about the machine as a very accomplished Mechanical Engineer - working in consumer products for 20 years. I estimate the cost of this product (imported from China at right around $40US. If there were nothing original about it (like if it were just a rowing machine) it should retail at around $60 to $100. Fact is, they potentially have claim to a patentable design, which means they should ask as much as they can for it, so $150 to $200 is certainly not unreasonable, but if sales are weak, I could see prices dropping by at most 50%.
In my opinion the machine has pretty good potential for a wide ranging upper body work-out, and it is certainly low impact, and easy on joints, neck, etc. I have noticed an improvement in my chronic lower back pain in just 2 weeks. Miracle weight reducer it is not, but you never get something dramatic without working hard for it.
IMPROVEMENTS:
The plastic disc on this machine is a weak point. Maybe if you are well under 150 pounds it will hold up, but for most of us, it will show signs of failure (cracks, bumps...) Also there is too much friction between the rollers and the plastic disc - I have remedied this on the one I have by applying a thin coating of Vaseline petroleum jelly to the edge of the disc - this works GREAT!
The plastic disc should have been made thicker, and should have been mounted differently on the pipe frame, - and I suspect if the company keeps making this product, they will eventually address this weakness. As a DIY fix-it solution, you can get a piece of metal from a tin/fabrication shop in the shape of a "C" that covers the outer edge of the plastic disc where the rollers ride (make it go a little beyond where the rollers go so they don't ride off the edge). Use "Goop" brand glue to glue the metal to the top of the disc, make sure the top surface of the metal and all exposed edges are very smooth. I would recommend 1mm to 1.5mm thick steel (0.040" to 0.062"). Using the Vaseline on the top of the steel will keep it running smooth and also keep it from rusting.
Overall, I do recommend this machine - although the company has some things they need to improve.

Thanks everyone for your comments - especially the person who has a degree in Engineering! I also went to this site and scrolled down to "Reader Reviews" -
www.squidoo.com From all of your comments, and theirs, it looks like the company has some things to workout to make the product more durable. Also, it makes me weary to buy equipment from a company that does not have good reviews from the BBB. Pretty much everyone who has had to deal with them in returning equipment has been fairly frustrated.
Still - it looks fun... So I hope they fix all of the problems it currently has and sell a better piece of equipment in the future. My knees can't afford the wear and tear people are describing (past injuries) and I do hope they incorporate some sort of knee support (gel pads or similar). I would really like to try it but I think I'll wait until the product is improved.
Thanks to the person who originally asked the question!
Also... Good luck to everyone who is exercising... In any way you can.

I tried it and it's not worth any price until they reconfigure the knee cups that hold you into the machine. It's only been on the market a few months ... I'm about 115 pounds an work out 4-7 days a week. Once you get a momentum going you begin to slide out of the knee cups .. Which can cause injury and friction burn to the knees. The knee cups should be a lot deeper to keep you in place an added cushion to soften the impact on knees which is fastened by a screw..

I have it, I do like it, you really have to put it on its full #3 level..... The only thing I HATE about it MY KNEES ARE RAW!!!!! I feel the bolts pushing through the rubber knee pads, and I am about 20 pounds over weight 140. So it is not my weight. For the $$$ that I spent on this I was so upset about the knees. I have to find something to cover my knees with every time I use it. You can not have to much padding as your knees will slip out of the ab Circle. That is my only complaint

I wouldnt buy it.

I ordered the "AB CIRCLE PRO
" for my sister who lives in Puerto Rico and I specifically told them to ship it to the PR address. I was told that it would take 3-4 days to process the paper work and 2 weeks to get to PR.
The machine arrived yesterday to my house (in NY)!!
I just called them today and told them that they shipped the machine to the wrong address and if they could please have it picked-up (UPS) and ship it to CORRECT address.
...they said that there ia a surcharge that was supposed to be added (on top of the $36.00 already added for shipping) and that since it was not added before that they could not have it picked-up!
Therefore, I could either order a new machine and have it shipped to PR (...yeah, right!!) or ship the machine to PR myself. I explained that this was their error not mine and that it was going to cost me a lot of money to ship (the box is quite heavy). The customer service person was rude and did not help the situation.
I spoke to my sister and explained what happened and she said..."well, send it back!"
I called up the company again and asked to speak to the Supervisor or manager! I told them that I wanted to cancel the product and since it was their error for sending IT to me- - if they could please send UPS to pick it up and bring it back to their company ...and that I would like to be refunded the entire amount that I paid (which was $234.25).
The rude supervisor told me that The responsibility of returning the machine to their company was on me (she said it was going to cost me $35.25) and that when they receive the machine, they will only refund me back $199 (which means that they get to keep the $35.25 for shipping). That means that I will lose a total $70.50 because of their mistake.

Yes I have tried the AbCirclePro and I love the machine but have had to return it due to having a pressure point under the knees pads on the plastic. They call it normal wear and tear. BS I sent the first one back, received another one and it is doing the same thing. They refunded my account the full price, I am not going to question them about giving me my money back while sending me a new one.
I weight 130 and I use it for 20 mins a day.....I am bummed that it is starting to chip away at the pressure point where the screw attaches to the body.
Not worht the price they want but I love the machine and what it has done for my body, I just feel it was a bad invention putting metal on plastic and expecting constant contact to not make a pressue point.

I ordered the machine for $199.75 an the Ab Computer for $39.95 There is Shipping to my location at $43.45 and Tax at $24.78, I did not want the vitamins because I have my own nor did i want to pay 29.95 for more warranty yes all is a pit pricey but I am doing this for fun and health at home. Due to the cost of the machine I have already made changes in diet like laving those potato chips and other junk food in the store so I can make my some of money back.
I was interested in the Ab Coaster but it to is very costly and required more space at home. I like the Idea of being able to take the Ab Circle with me and the machine appears to have some of the same kind of moves for working those love handles as the bigger Coaster machine.
I am just not into the TV type bend and stretch or dance to the music kind of girl kudos to those who are, but I remember how sore my thighs were back in the day when I would go to the city park and swing as high as I could what a work out. My abs and thighs got , to bad that swings dont come in adult sizes. Any way that is why i am going for fun of it and staying positive all the way and just maybe I will see some nice changes in my body too.

I would like to know if the company that is marketing it and responsible for online payments is the same as the Contour belt. The reason is this...I did the 30 day trial for 14.95 for that...sent it back because it was ridiculous and there were no results. About a month later I saw all of these weird charges on my bank statement with codes Icould not decifer. Fortunately there was a phone number so I called it. They had charged my card for two other products totally unrelated (not that that really matters) and tried to tell me that I agreed to order them at the time I ordered the belt. I know I didn't because like the person above I was totally concerned about the deadline for the trial.."does 30 days start from their ship date or the day it get to you "etc. The total came to well over $100! They argued with me back and forth and asked the person for a supervisor who argued until I threatened them with lawsuit and reporting them to the BBB. They immediately credited my account. That was enough to turn me off of EVER ordering anything like this online again. Unfortunately now I have to watch my account like a hawk and am worried I may have to cancel my account and start over because in reality they still have my info. Yikes!

I received mines 3 weeks ago & the knee cups are not padded enough. My knees were sore for a week! But, I refused to let that deter me so I purchased a pair of tennis pads to help out. I started on #2 (resistance). It's not really hard, but, it's not easy either.
I use it about 4 times a week & I can see a difference in my abs & hips!
It works but you have to be moviated enough to do it.

Save your money and buy something else. I was very disappointed in this machine. It was very uncomfortable to use, very hard on my knees. It doesn't work your abs unless you are really concentrating on the movement. When I got off I couldn't feel that I had done anything for my abs. For cardio effects it says to do it for 40 minutes 5 days a week, I couldn't do this for more than a couple minutes and my knees were hurting. When I tried to raise it to the advanced level it felt like my knees were going to slip out of the knee cups. Plus this is absolutely no workout for legs or butt like it says. I could get a better ab workout doing my total gym. If your looking for something that is worth $200 try a total gym.

Anyone on here who says it has worked in two weeks is working for the company! It doesn't. I have used it faithfully for two weeks and nothing! I am sending it back tomorrow. I have called and made arrangements and I have a lawyer standing by to help if need be. Do not order this machine. It's hype. I wish I had never ever ordered it. Live and learn and then do the right thing. Exercise the correct way, eat right and do it slowly. We all want fast results. Duh

I had answered 2 other times on this question, as Guest, referencing "Engineer". I have been using the machine for 4 weeks now (twice per day, 3 1/2 minutes per session 5 days/week) and I am happy with its performance. I have been doing mild dieting - just cutting down portions a bit- along with the ab machine and have lost around 6 pounds, and have dropped from (mens) 36 to 34 pants size. As I pointed out before, if you don't feel the ab work out you are probably "swinging" way to fast. 90 counts in 3 min. Is the fastest I would suggest, and if you can't slow yourself down, do "half - swings" where you start at bottom, and swing to one side, and back to bottom - 5 or so per side (alternating sides after each 5 lifts). I can definitely see an improvement in stomach shape - not six pack yet, but much less "beer gut". Also as I pointed out before, put a thin layer of vaseline on the top of the plastic cover where the rollers ride to improve smoothness & reduce wear - it works great!

I decided to try the ab circle pro out. I am 35 and physically fit. I do not need to lose weight, just wanted an alternative to sit ups. First of all, the machine is not made of heavy duty material, therefore it slides across the floor. Pretty easy assembly b/c of the lightweight materials used. I did the suggested 3 minutes and felt nothing. I went on about my business and in about an hour my back began to throb with pain. I lived the next four days on a heating pad and pain relievers. I am no stranger to exercise, I just think this motion is not natural to ones body. It completely through my back out of line. The option to work your inner thighs is a joke. It offers no resistance. You can get the same effect by opening and shutting your legs. Now for the MONEY. You try this thing for $14.95 PLUS the shipping of $34.50. Then once your injured, you decide to return it. Well it cost another $70.00 for me to return. So the $14.95 try it thing - is a rip off. I paid $119.00 plus pain medication to try something the hurt me. I will NEVER buy an exercise device without trying it first. When I called to return it, the customer service rep offered me a discount of $35.00 if I decide to keep it. Yeah right, for me to injure myself with? No deal. Instead I choose to get screwed by sending it back for someone else's discomfort.
Now my husband did try it also. He does need some help around the middle due to his diabetes. He said it did nothing for him and once he saw the pain that I was in, he refused to try it again. Who can lay out of work b/c an exercise piece of crap hurt them. I can't b/c I have to pay to send this torture device back! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, ENERGY OR MONEY. The people on the show may have thought it was a good idea. I would like to see ALL of them an hour later when the pain sets in. DO NOT PURCHASE - SAVE YOUR MONEY.

I honestly am thinking about ordering one. "Rug Burn", I mean can't you wear long pants. Sweat Pants. After using it for, what, a year or two i think if you are looking to loose a lot of weight. That can happen. I'm almost positive you're gonna have to do it for more than three bloody minutes. Try twenty or thirty minutes, and daily. With a good diet. Don't go out munching twinkies and then expect to loose it all in three minutes. Every BODY is different so some people it may work for, some may need more than that. Try it, and if you don't like it, then you'll know. It all depends........(-not trying to call anyone out, just putting it all out there-) = )

My teenage daughter and I have been interested in purchasing one of these, after reading most of these posts, I think I will pass.... I imagine that the spokeswoman was a body builder her whole life, the kind of transformation she is claiming is not likely in her supposed time frame.
SIde note, to one who commented about un authorized charges to bank account, If it happened once it can and usually does happen again.... It happened to me with something unrelated to this and after a year I finally had to close my 15 year account... Be careful...
Best luck to all, weight loss is a positive goal, but as the personal trainer said here, you didn't gain weight over night and you won't lose it fast either... You are worth the effort though! Think about this, every pound of Fat has 5 miles of blood vessels in it that your heart has to pump through... Right now I am 60 pounds over weight, so my poor heart is pumping blood through 300 miles of needless fat! Things like that inspire me to work out more and harder... Or for example, 1 pound of fat is the same as one large tub of butter... Country Crock hanging all over the place... Every 5 pounds of fat you lose takes about 10 pounds of pressure of your knees and other joints and so on and so forth... YOU CAN DO IT!!!! And be smart about your money at the same time...

Well, well, well, Glad to see someone else has tried this gimmic. I just slipped right off the machine and landed on my already rug burnde knees...I work out on the gym floor 4 days a week; the ab circle has no benefits what so ever, even if you can stay on the machine and escape the rug burn knees..I would recommend trying this little piece of equipment out if your trying it for free and doing so as a customer review only! Good luck...CF

I was wondering if the Engineer guy had any problems with the knee's? He had a great posting and it makes sense what he suggested but he never mentioned if his knees were sore or if they slipped out. His was the only post that seem to make any real sense.

NO WAY will I pay over $200.00 for this. Watch, it will go down to at least half that in a while. It is a gimmick, everyone is complaining of hurt knees, the roller balls break or get jammed ...and 35.00 shipping??? THAT IS RAPE, PEOPLE! Get a simple pilates ball and some dvds. Hell for what this thing costs I can almost get a Wii fit!
I wanted to but not now sorry you all had to order it. I guess if it looks took easy there a catch. I will look and see what HSN does with AB circle and see if they have returns.
Thanks for the info. Pound heavy but wiser

"Engineer Guy" reporting again...I have had no knee issues or any other pain caused by using this machine other than sore muscles- which is what is supposed to do. I am 5'9 and 190+ pounds, so I am not featherweight, I have used it with jeans on, and with shorts and never had any rug burn. No breakage of knee cup area either. Main weakness is the rollers on the plastic top - but just keep a thin coating of vaseline on top surface and it will work fine. Keep body centered, and don't go faster than 90 counts in 3 minutes. I have used it on max incline for 5 weeks, about 7 minutes or 200 counts per weekday and can see an obvious difference in my gut, and dropped from 36 to 34 pants size. I would take this machine over doing sit-ups any day - as long as you have the $$.

To the Engineer Guy. Thanks for the input. My analysis of all the feed back is this... It is made kind of cheap and is over priced however, if used properly and with a little preventive maintenance it does a good job at toning up the gut. If you have some issues doing sit ups then this sounds like it might work well. It seems like it is now available on the HSN for less money and less ordering issues (I have to check on this). I am a pretty fit guy but I have a hard time with sit ups and rowing so I would like a low impact machine to help tone up the mid section. I understand the complaints about price and quality but over all it sounds like these things can be over come. Would you agree? Once again your objective feedback and helpful hints are top notch. If there is anything else you can think of I know I would like hear it so please post. I am going to check out HSN and let you know! Thanks!

I am a little skepticel about the ab circle but, I have decided to try it for the 30 day promotion offered on tv. Any way after reading all the blurps about the ab circle pro. I didn't feel like there was anything wrong with the machine. I know alot of you have emailed in saying the handel bars were crooked maybe you didnt put it togethr correctly. And some said the knee pads were hurting them. I found them to be comfortable for the time pereiod that you would utilize the machine. And finally many said they didnt feel it unless it was on number three level I had it on number one and had a little rough time to begin and get it all the way up to the top notch. Today is day two and I feel it in my arms and lower back the most. I am hopeing I will see the results specified on the commercials. I will keep you updated on a weekly basis and plan to take before and after pictures as well as measurements of my body. AS of July 8, 2009 I am over 70lbs over weight and hope to loose many love handles.

I just bought mine got it this week-end. I like it I can tell it will work. I am over 200lbs and a transplant patient so I hope it works! It seems pretty easy to move! Made a little cheaper looking than appears on TV but it held me....so that is a plus. If you have a knee problem not for you!

Seriously all these people that are going on about this ab circle pro being hopeless is mad.ok yes its not the best quality but a typical piece of gym equipment is thousands of dollars and i tell you what i had my son 4 months ago. Had a c section (my second one) and so couldnt work out for ages.i had the massive spare tyre around my tummy and love handles were huge.just had a baby so naturally was a bit bigger everywhere.i have been doin the ab circle pro for 2 weeks now.sometimes i do 10 minutes, sometimes i do 3.this week ive only done it every second day instead of everyday. I havent changed my diet at all and i eat a horrendous amount of food (tryna kick that in the but), but in just 2 weeks i have lost 2 cm from around my waist and the before and after photos after 2 weeks is incredible.face on and side on.i actually cant believe it.its nothing dramatic like ive turned into a supermodel but you can just see where in my love handles ive shrunk ever so slightly.its great.thats only 2 weeks.imagine what will happen if i persevere.people complain about the sore back but i honestly believe its strengthening your lower back muscles and ends up being good for it.it was torture at first but my backs starting to feel a little more strengthened.definately not sore anymore.the knees too hurt at first but im conditioned .believe the more you use your stomach muscles etc the less pressure you have on your knees as well which also gives you a better workout

You do not have to be a professional athlete to use it, I have been using if for the past 2 days (and i am certainly no professional athlete - far from it actually) and i just love it to bits - On the advert it says abs, legs and butt, however i can also feel it in my arms, my chest and lower back - it is so worth it!!! Its not hard at all, its actually a lot of fun and even my 5 year old daughter likes to get on and have a little bit of a swing - just awesome would highly recommend it over and over again!!!

I saw the AbCircle on TV & I've been researching it since. I checked out their website, called then I finally emailed the company. I received an automated response back saying they will contact me within 24-48 hours. I am very interested in the machine to make a purchase but I don't want any problems if I should return the product within 30 days. I was not happy with the ordering process as far as not speaking with a live person. I don't like giving my info to a recorded machine, or inputting the details on a website. I may wait until the debut on HSN in May (I read that online somewhere). But, I am very anxious to get the product therefore I may just wait to see how quickly they respond to my emailed questions. One of my questions were in regards to the weight requirements; which they do not tell you.
NJTruths (If I remember I will post again if I get the product).
To the reviewer above : I think you meant "not for consumer consumption", LOL! Pretty funny mistake from someone that hates stupid people....

I have just ordered it today and I am very excited to try it. I am 56 yrs old and have about 40 lbs. To lose. I am going to give it my best as I am always too tired to go to a gym and need something to take off this extra weight for my frame. I am only 5'1! I will get back after I try it for a couple of weeks to let you all know if it works. I hope that I have good news to write. As for the cost - I have spent way more than that on the gym and not gone!..............Hopeful
I am waiting for mine to come. I ordered it last week. I will let all you know. I go to the chiropractor and I trust what they say because they have changed my whole life. They recommend this machine because it doesn't strain your neck or back. I will let you know my results.

All the answers to the question seem prefab...just check a link given by another sight and the link went straight to the product sight. Not sure if you are actually exchanging or getting information from someone who's actually used it or what. All really seem to come from the official sight.

Please people, stop trying to find the easy way out! Losing weight takes a lot of discipline and a change in life style. Three times a week aerobic workouts for twenty minutes is the minimum amount you should do as well as ab workouts which i find the ball to be very helpful, weight training, and a balanced diet. Remember, fats are good to eat as long as they aren't saturated fats from animals and stay natural and whole foods. No high carbs, no preservatives, no chemically made substitutes, and no sugar. For sugar junkies, look up a natural substitute called xylitol. Excellent stuff! I would like to try this machine out when they put it in stores and correct the flimsy workmanship because those of you who are injured probably need this as a last resort. But no exercise works without getting rid of bad habits. And not many percentage of people are designed to have killer abs. I'm 32 and 110 ibs at a height of 5"2 and no matter how much i workout my abs, my stomach still has a little pouch that sticks out more than any curves I might have so oh well. As long as I'm healthy that's all that matters to me.

I purchased the ab circle pro nearly 2 months ago. I followed the instructions and after 8 days, the part that you place your knee inside is very weak and broke. I weigh 150 pounds and should be well within the weight limit. The cushion support of the knee is not very comfortable either. I even purchased a gel knee pad to wear when using it. I also applied a low carb diet with using the machine to try to enhance my weight loss. Honestly, I have lost weight, but I don't believe it had much to do with this machine (at least the ab portion). You do feel a burn, but not so much in your stomach. It is more in your thighs and arms (a little in the arms). The brace of the knee did come off, and I had to have it replaced. Mysteriously, it made a lot quicker than the actual machine. It took three weeks for the machine to get to me... And the person that posted earlier is correct... Your trial starts from the date of purchase, thus not allowing you the full 2 weeks to use the machine to see if it really works. They also say on the commercial no questions asked. I tried to return this machine to get my money back, and at first they were not willing to refund my money.. Then later said that it would take another 60 days for my money to be returned. Then I received a phone back from a manager that told me how the trial started on the date of purchase (not from the arrival date), and that I didn't qualify for the return. Needless to say, I would recommend to anyone wanting to try this machine ... To please wait until it is in stores and the price is dropped tremendously. It is a very cheap made product. I am sure that there will be much better machines prototyping this machine at a fraction of the cost, more comfortable to use, and with much better service. I am very disappointed with the ab circle roller, the customer service I was provided... And made sure to tell the manager that I would be sure to post this online... In which the manager responded "Well, ma'am it must be getting good reviews because we are constantly filling orders..." what a jerk. Sadly, I was one of these people that was so excited about receiving this machine that ended up truly pissing me off. Best wishes to all others that are trying to lose weight. Anyone have any other recommendations of things that have worked for them will be greatly appreciated.
I have had this machine for 2 weeks now, and commented briefly a week ago about construction, quality, and build cost of machine (I am an Engineer). I think one thing that is causing issues with this thing is how people are using it. If you want to build muscle versus burn maximum calories, you should slow your speed way down. I use this on maximum tilt, and do roughly 90 counts in 3 minutes with a very constant rotation speed, keeping my shoulders centered directly over the middle of the machine. If you use it this way you will definitely feel your your abs getting a workout - and not have any problem with the thing tipping or sliding along the floor. I am still pretty happy with the ab circle, helps your lower back, definitely an upper arm/triceps workout, and a comfortable way to work the abs. As in my previous comment, spread a thin coating of vaseline over the area that the rollers ride on and it works much better.

I would like to point out, it does work.
Simply do as instructed just 3 minutes only, follow a Diet, take it seriously and have a good motivation to do it.
Nothing else is needed, if you do it exactly like this the machine will not have any problems of ware off, it will last longer since you are not over using it.
I have used for over 2 months already, and never had any issues with it or with me (like for ex: Sore knees

I received 3 weeks ago now and i use it probably 6 days a week 15 to 20 minutes a day. I cant say that i look any different however i will say that i feel different. Im not as out of breathe as i was when i first started. I also feel more energized.. I work at home so i dont get out much and this is why i purchased it because i saw that it's also good for cardio. I would RECOMMEND for someone who dont get must excersize, as far as getting a nice set of abs....none yet....

Any workout that makes you move your body and raise your heart rate will help you lose weight. Ask any trainer and you will be told the same. Run, Walk, Jump or this will make you move and it will raise your heart rate. The one thing is you have to do it every day and do it like you mean business and not go slow or go easy on your self. Also You must change your diet!!!!! If you eat 4000 calories a day but only burn 2000 then there is something wrong. I use the bodybugg and with that alone I have lost 20 lbs and going. Learn how to eat right and get up and move!

I purchased the AB Circle for $240 ($199 for the machine + $35 shipping), and I must say that it was a HUGE mistake and I'm returning it! I searched reviews before I purchased the product, with mixed reviews, I remained hopeful and thought it was a great concept. However, when I actually started using the product, I realized:
1. The knee pads were extremely uncomfortable and painful so I couldn't stay on the machine for more than 2 minutes, the next day, both my knees were bruised;
2. I have hardwood floors throughout my place, while I was on the machine, it kept gliding left and right with my movements;
3. Finally, I liked the concept of folding the machine and store it underneath of sofa (as it advertised), but not, it's troublesome to collapse, and even when it's collapsed, the high knee pads made it impossible to store it under my sofa.
I was surprised that all the reviews that I read didn't mention any of the things which prompted me to return the product. I hope you can find my review helpful when you decide to purchase one.

I have not tried this product. But at $200 + I would rather spend the time at the gym. I pay $20 a month at the gym. I do all the exercises they show this machine does in about an hour to an hour and a half. I have lost 18lbs in 9 days and I feel great. You do the math!!! Good Luck!

This manchine doesn't work the way it is advertised. This is a rip-off.Is there no government agency that regulates these kind of scammers who just pop up from nowhere and rip people off with impunity? They go to China, manufacture second-rate products and dump them on unsuspecting citizens. Someone should notify the government, because these crooks keep growing by the day.My advice is this: If you can't find it in Wal-mart or any reputable store, save your money.

Ok so it seems this thing is a piece of crap. I was sooo gonna buy it.. 10 pounds in 2 weeks or money back.. Hmm sounds crappy anyways. I got the Bender Ball.. And wow talk about feeling the burn in the abs. I totally felt it for 3 days. It's alot cheaper and works great. It didn't strain my neck or back either. (I have a very bad back and very bad knee from a car accident) So I would recommend that to anyone looking for something to workout the abs.

Okay, I watched the commercial like yesterday right, and I was curious to know if it really does work. Because I rarely see commercials like those. (I would think it's a waste of time, that's me.) Regardless, I was curious...I dunno why but I was. And I was wondering if it REALLY does work. Like do you need to go in a diet while doing the cardio? Or do you just start loosing calories like that?

Hello!
I am also considering purchasing the Circle Ab Pro, however, I've had so many poor experiences purchasing by phone in the last several years!! I checked Home Shopping
Network (HSN) and the item is cheaper, shipping is free and you have one month from the time you receive it to return it if you're unhappy. Actually, they've even allowed me to return items I've had for more than a month! Their customer service dept. Is always
very pleasant and quite accomadating. I will not be purchasing from companies featured on TV ever again!! Good luck to all of you! Linda

Sounds like there's mostly bads of this product after reading everyone's reviews. It's bad or just not sure yet. I'm glad i found this site, & it helped me make my decision. I hope everyone that did get 1makes the best of it & gets the results they want. I personally don't want to put that amount of money into it if it is cheapily made & reported to be falling a part within the 1st week of owning & it sounds like weight of person(s) using is not a factor in deterioration. Maybe the results vary for everyone depending on how they use it. But the important factor to me is quality...& i want quality, especially when it comes to exercise equipment. It should be very durable..tough, to withstand all the motions it goes through frequently.

I just got mine, and it's actually $450 here in australia. I asked alot of questions regarding this item when before i ordered it. After reading this forum I asked about every issue that I had seen come up.
Thankfully I did not have to talk to a machine at all... Which is an issue i have seen in this forum a few times.
My trial started from the day I actually signed for it. I also paid no postage, and if i decide to send it back before my 30 days is up, they organise that and pay for it.
I am trying to get into shape but am limited in what I can do because I have some arthritis in my back.
Having said that, I have found it to be easy to use and loads of fun!

I purchased the ab circle pro . Me and my husband used it for about a week. Within a weeks time one knee grip started to rip and the nut in the middle of the machine kept falling off in the middle of each work-out. We contacted the comapny and they told us they would replace the ripped parts but there was nothing they could do about the nut and bolts. A replacement machine would probably do the same thing.. I don't feel it's worth 200+ dollars. WE RETURNED IT FOR A FULL REFUND.

I just ordered one over the phone and I also received the run around. I didnt know the trial period starts the day it is shipped. The rep had no info other than a speech that to me sounded rehearsed. I askedto speak to a supervisor and she knew even less! Hopefully I get results that I am looking for. I should get it in a "few" wks. I'll post another entry when I get it.

After all the complaints and reviews...NO, NOT WORTH THE PRICE! Make your own, I did. I used a swivel bar chair, built a small ramp with 3 sets of 2 holes each, for different height, (to put the 2 back legs of chair in), and a flanged pipe with old bicycle handlebars attached to hold onto, or you could just attach another T-pipe and get some handlebar grips (cheap). I got some knee pads and glued on some of that rubbermaid stuff you use for under your dishes in cabinets so they don't slide. Works like a charm! You can take out the handle pipe, and take your chair off to use for your bar/ whatever, and slide your little ramp & handlebars under the bed! I already had everything except the knee pads and wood for base ramp. Cost me under $30! It doesn't do the action where you spread your knees, just the swivel. But it still works great!

I just returned mine after having it 6 weeks and doing 10 min, every day faithfully and seeing no results. I am only 135lbs so should have seen some results but didn't. I was told to return it I would have to pay Shipping and Handling which I thought would be about the same amount that I paid for them to ship it but it was more like $53 to return it. I asked why this was and they said that the company gets a discount for shipping out so many so that is why theirs was cheaper. I ended up paying around $100 in all just to try it and get no results. I do not recommend wasting your time or money.

I am 44 years old and have worked out forever. I am 190 pounds and in great shape. The idea behind the ab- circle pro is great. I saw the positive results on my abs within two weeks as Jennifer Lee (she is sooo fine) promised .But the actual equipment is poorly built with cheap materials. I worked out on mine for 10 minutes per day and have worn it out before I finished paying for it. It is now useless. It might work for a 100 pound or less person. If you want to buy one wait until they improve the product.

Hi there my step father works for the company who orders and distributes the ab circle pro in nz. My mother who was a personal trainer and never bothers with anything off tv wanted to try it. After trying the first edition she noticed a few faults- no track for the machine to run on and a couple of other things this was then sent back and the machine has then been altered. We then got to try out the first of the second edition of the machine in nz. My mum absolutely loves its!i do too!the machine is easy to use and you can feel the burn. It really is worth your money. A treadmill is fine to use but most people do not realise that just doing cardio may result in weight loss but you retain a high fat content in your body if not incorporated with muscle building exercises like free weights and most people do not keep up with a treadmill and give up after a short amount of time. With the ab circle pro you can watch tv with no noise in your way it is light weight and easily portable and comes with the dvd. Me and my mum always do more then the 3mins a day but thats up to you. Its fun and easy and you truly do feel the burn. I recommend for anyone to at least give it a go.

I bought one less than a month ago, and I am already having problems with it. After putting it together, I immediately tried it and was discouraged by how hard it seemed to get it going. I didn't touch it for about a week, then tried it again. I raised it to a higher level, and it was actually a bit easier for me. I thought okay, I can do this. For about a week , I used it for a few minutes several times a day. I don't know if it was doing me that much good, but I felt like I was doing something, so I continued. Then I noticed it was getting harder to swing to the right side. I also noticed shavings appearing on the red circle and a clicking noise. Upon investigation, it appears the left roller under the knee pad was not rolling, but simply sliding most of the time, and a deep groove had worn into it. I called the company to ask for a replacement roller, and was told that was not a replacement part, and if I had bought the machine from them, (which I didn't, I purchased mine at a store),just pack it up and mail it back to them. Simple, huh! The booklet, where I got the number in the first place, said it would cost 34.95 for shipping it back and to include another 34.95 for them to return the machine back to you! Very disappointed as I only got to use it for about a week. I'm returning mine to the store today. Good luck!

I bought the Ab circle and was charged for the warranty that I did not order. They will not refund the money said they will give me a credit. I do not want a credit. Also I paid full price for the machine and on the statement it says I will be charged another $39.99 in one month I have emailed them about this but have not gotten a response. I have called their customer service line on numerous occasions and the recording always states please call back later due to high call volumes. This is a billing scam! I am letting everyone know what shoddy business practices this company uses. Do not buy this product.

Just received mine. My boyfriend put it together for me. The video doesnt help much. Your on your own! The knee pads leave marks on your knees. I want to get extra padding for mine. Otherwise, i probably won't stick with it. I already paid full price to save the extra 14.95. To soon to tell if the three minutes a day for 2 wks makes you actually lose ten pounds....

I recently purchased this product from the HSN online. Although I have not received it yet, it is a much better deal than buying from the Infomercial and you only will have to deal with the HSN. I paid total $169.00 including s&h and taxes, which seems much more reasonable than worrying about being billed random numbers. Good luck to everyone.

Complete waste of 249.95. It is worth maybe 30.00. I thought that it was only 3 payments but they debited my card a 4th time when I realized that in addition to the initial 49.95 (shipping and trial) that I still had 2 pmts remaining. So in other words you got the initial 49.99 + 5 pmts of 39.95. WHAT A RIP OFF- and to top it off- It doesn't even work.

Let me warn you.............
It is a piece of crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is hard on your knees and back.
It is not as easy as it looks on tv & I am in relatively good shape.
All of my friends who have tried it thinks it is worthless.
It does nothing for your abs AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!
As far as the no hassle money back policy...guess again!!!!!!!!!!!
They sent me 2 for some reason & when I called to have the extra one sent back, they told me I had to pay for the shipping!!!!!!!!!!!
Plus they had already charged me for it.
When I asked to speak with a manager, they put me on hold for well over half an hour.
When I finally got to speak with a manager, he was rude & offered no resolution.
So I am stuck with not only one piece of crap, but 2!!!!!!!!!!

Hi :) This is so worth the money!!!! I've had mine for just over three weeks, and I've definitely noticed the difference. If you expect in three days to see the results, you're not going to. Give it two or three weeks, and then you will. I've seen the negative replies people have written about it, but most of them expect and instantaneous result in 3-4 days, and then give up on it because they're not happy. Come on!!! What do you expect!!!! You're obviously giving up way too early, so please don't. Keep at it, and you will. So far, I've lost the paunch around the middle, and my stomach muscles are toning up, and my butt has definitely been lifted. I'm looking better than I've looked in 10 years, and after a hysterectomy which really does cause weight to not move much, if at all from the areas where you want it? The ab circle pro has made a difference bigtime!!! I'm using mine now for 20 minutes a day, and summer is just around the corner (yes I live in New Zealand and the weather is getting hotter), so I'll be proud to wear a bikini for the first time in my life. THE AB CIRCLE PRO WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I have commented a few other times on this machine since I received it in May, and now I have been using it for 4 months steady. 3 minutes morning, 3 minutes evening 5 days/week. I put a thin coating of vaseline on the top of the plastic to make the rollers work better, and have had one of the knee cup bolts work loose but other than that, no other mechanical problems. I don't swing rapidly back and forth, but go more slowly and hold for a moment at the top of each swing and I have had a very noticeable improvement in my "gut". I am not using this as a weight loss tool, but I still look way better than when I started (I have lost 5 - 7 pounds overall). I don't know if this could be very effective for dramatic weight loss, but I really don't care because I look better and that is what matters to me. Strong toned abs with a layer of fat on top look better than weak sagging abs with the same layer of fat on top. If you stick with this machine and don't go for a world record in swinging speed, you will look better, even if you don't lose much weight. I have my machine set at the highest level and I have never had any injuries or sore knees or whatever from using this thing. Worth the $200 in my book.

I would have NEVER bought this thing if i knew it was going to be over $200.00! I was avoiding having to pay high gym fee"s...I could have been a member at an amazing gym down the street for the last four months for what I have already paid to Ab Circle. And...I still don"t know how much more $ they are going to take out of my account. Rip Off.

Thanks for the honest rews. By people who are not with the company. I was thinking about ordering it, but i've re-considered. Will not order it. Hadn't even thought about the "rug burn" knee thing until one of you mentioned it. I am an X ballet dancer, and a trainer, it seemed interesting at first, but I'll wait till it comes out in the stores, there will be no shipping charges, and no credit card possible rip offs.

I bought the ab circle pro. I feel as if it works but it is something u must do everyday. I however havent been using it everyday. However, I do NOT feel that it is worth the price. I feel like it is a bit pricey.
Its rather heavy.. And takes up a lot of space due to the amount of space needed for the swinging motions.

I am also wondering if it really works. I was injured 2 years ago.Several operations later have a hard time going back to my normal exercise. Have a hard time walking do to injury. Sit ups won't do it, because it pulls on my groin area. My doctor told me to look into this. So the feedback was great. Any suggestions that doesn't include more damage to my groin area, would be great. Already on a strict diet. No exercise and diet only goes so far. Went from 185 muscular, to laid up for almost 9 months to 220 flabby. Help!!

Thanks for all the responses. After being interested watching the infomercial 20 minutes ago, it is now clear that the product does not work as well as advertised, has an adverse affect on your knees, costs upwards of $300 with S&H, and is difficult to return. Easy decision now!

I received my Ab Circle on Tuesday. Have only used it for 2 nights, on the 15 degree, which I guess is the hardest level, for only about 15 minutes each night. The only place i am feeling any "burn" is in my upper arms and middle back. I am hoping there will be results in other places in the next week, as I build up the amount of time I spend on it every night.
Does anyone know if there is another way to change resistance, or anything?
The only problem i had was determining what angle, how high the handle bars should be, etc.
As for the weight of the machine, well my 9 year old will move it in and out of the closet for me. She thinks it is fun to use as well.

Thanks to all for your comments. I too wanted to try the ab circle pro because it looks like
a fun thing to do while watching tv. But, you can just tell that the knee positioning is a key
weak point, and they should have thought of this in the manufacturing, and made it come
with a gel pack for comfort and also a replacement should come free with the machine, for
that price! I am not going to buy one now, because i already got scammed on the Acai berry
diet crap, that I am still waiting for. (its been 10 days now.) They said it would be a free trial for shipping only then, put a hold on 80 bucks on my account. I can just imagine what kinds of scams this product comes with. Sounds like plenty though with all the added on crap that they want to offer you, like a digital clock for 35 bucks, it should also be included with the machine for the price they are asking. And vitamins...come on. What a ripoff! Im keeping my money.

I first used this on Monday 5/5 after coming to stay with my sister that weekend. I used it for a LOT more than 30 minutes every day, in bursts. My review is that its not only fun, but it works too. I didn't realize how much weight I lost till I came back home yesterday. I put on a nightgown that used to fit me like a tee shirt and it now fits like a short dress. I had a muffin top and a pooch and both are gone. My arms are smaller too. The shape of my back changed and my waist is narrow. I am 5'7 and a size 14. I think now I could get into a tight 10 but I'm wearing a 12 loosely after using this for three weeks. This machine tones you up in a way that really makes your feminine curves stand out. I don't have a scale to see how much I lost but I know I lost a lot of inches and fat.
I came on line looking for a way to buy it straight(on eBay or something) without doing the whole $14.95 gimmick. I wanted to share my review.
The only thing I could say negatively about the ACP is the knee part should be made out of foam or something because they hurt without a sock or some other cushion on them. And - that I don't think you are really going to see results using this for only three minutes. No way.
Plan on doing maybe three sets of three minutes until you build up the stamina to do maybe three sets of ten minutes. I'm very lazy but it only took my about two weeks to get there.
Good luck. This is a good machine and if they rebuilt it with better grade materials, it would be my pick as a staple for every home and gym. I highly recommend it.

Wow i came here looking for answers, now im even more confused. All i hoped to see was that people had some degrees of success. I ordered mine may 24th, waiting for it she said it would be an additional 7=10 business days after initial 7-10 days bc they r back ordered. I recently lost 18 lbs in 3 weeks by cutting out all the yeast and sugar in my diet. I would never expect a machine to transform my body if i didnt change my diet. I am 5'4 and weigh 132 lbs. I feel healthier and more flexible so i am able to tolerate and enjoy the exercises. I also began running 2 miles a day recently. So im just buying it for the little muffin top and to tone up my hips. Will let you know how i like it when i actually get it.....

I just got mine today. I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs. I am not really feeling any burn in my abs and I am certainly using it longer thant 3 minutes. Most of the workout feels to be in my arms which isn't all bad. The bun and thigh workout isn't bad either but was really hoping to feel more affect in my abs as that's obviously where I need to concentrate my workouts. I kind of like it though. I'm having trouble with the machine tipping while I'm using it. Anybody else have tipping problems?

Like the rest of you I really wanted to try this unit!! The Ad did a good job of getting me hooked. Just before I was going to order, I went looking for reviews (research, research, research as Dad says is a girls best friend) and found you all. Thanks for all the comments. I have decided to hold off. I really want a "quality" product that will get the job done. It sounds like this unit is not up to speed currently. Maybe time will help the company develop a quality unit and include "customer care/service" that includes integrity. As I continued to look for reviews I did find another ab unit (which also has a infomercial) where all the review are really impressive. See what you think (
www.infomercialratings.com and let me know your opinion. I did get one thing positive from the Ab Circle Pro infomercial, the desire and excitement to do something about my abs. Thanks again.
I would like very much to purchase the AbCricle Pro. However, I do not believe in placing orders into a recorded machine. Human Beings Need Jobs! I do not believe in leaving credit card information on a machine either. If the product is so good then the company selling it should have no problem paying human beings reasonable wages to answer the phone lines thereby offering proper customer service. After all, they ARE charging quite a bit of money for their machine... Also, I am concerned about what some people might consider to be a fraudulent free trial policy. Supposedly, the 'free trial' starts on the date the order is placed!!! If the product is IN THE MAIL the customer is not then trying it so, why then is the shipping time considered part of the so-called "free trial?" Sounds like a greedy gimmick which is certainly not in the best interest of the consumer. Therefore, my unique way of showing my gratitude is to wait for a cheaper knock off to arrive in stores. This way I can interact with an employed human being, pay less for the item, and not pay any shipping and handling. In the meantime, I will continue with my current exercise regime which is working just fine!
I have checked out several sites for reviews on this product. My enthusiasm for this equipment soon faded once I saw this report. Please read before purchasing the Ab Circle Pro. So I will not be ordering this unit and will have to continue my search for another way of toning my abs. I hope this will help with all that are questioning this product.
www.associatedcontent.com
I placed an order on 5/2/09 and received the product on 5/26/09. Today is 5/30/09 and I am very concerned about the quality and upkeep of the ab Circle Pro. The rollers under the somewhat uncomfortable knee pads has already begun shaving away... And I am only on level 2 of the 3 levels.
I thank you guys for posting your messages because I simply assumed I would have a full 30 days from the date of delivery to decide if I would like to keep the machine. I will call later this morning to request a refund.

Im thinking of trying it. The reviews seem pretty 50/50 so im unsure. I weight 175 and have been trying to lose weight for over 5 years. I cant decide whether i should just spend it and hope it works or save the hassle and keep my nose to the grind with traditional workouts. Help D:

We assembled it and with only 10 -20 of use by 7 people the wheels are becoming flat. The black from the wheels is ingrained on the red part and it doesn't ride smooth either. Definitely not worth the money.

Why anyone would try this product is beyond me. If you know anything about physics, you can clearly see from the Infomercial that the Ab Circle moves mostly because of momentum... And therefore, you're using very little muscle to make it move. It also looks painful on the knees. Perhaps this will work if you're simply looking to lose a couple pounds, but even then, I guarantee it'll take far more than 3 minutes a day. But if you actually want strong, visible abs, the Ab Circle is not the way to go.

I haven't tried it but I did watch it closely and read the reviews. Thanks for that. But as I sat at my computer I began rocking back and forth. I said to myself, let me get on my knees and hold on to my desk and rock back an forth. What do you know? Suddenly I was simulating the exercise! This way I can do a free trial at home and wait until it is in stores or maybe go to the thrift store and buy another office chair for a few dollars when this one gives out!

I think it's a ripe off. I don't really believe in those commericals except for the ab king pro as my friends dad went from love handles to abs. You just get toning from this, don't expect miracles if you are big . I say the 'people' from the ad are padded cause they cover up most off there body. I am not fat but wouldnt try this, i would try a personal trainer and get them to work out a plan for you at a gym.It is pretty cheap.

I've purchased mine 4 months ago and have been using it 5 days a week for 10 to 15 minutes a day and I immediately noticed the difference in the way I am feeling and looking. I was sore the first couple of days then it got better. Now I can feel and see the toning in my arms, gluts and hips...I'm definately getting the V-shape I used to have before having my children. My abs are slowly transforming and I couldnt be happier with this product. It's fun...though yes you need to be careful...or you could slid off....but there's also responsibility in the user. But when done right, it can be a lot of fun. Like all fitness routines, you need to eat sensibly, and keep consistent with a work out. Not just try it a few days or a couple of weeks then stop and base your response to the product at that time. Keep on working with it and see what happens. I've tried many products out there and am very happy with this product, though I do think it's over priced. But it works! Might I add that this is coming from someone who had major surgery that opened me up from hip to hip....so it's taken years of healing from a C-section from birth of twins and a hysterectomy due to cancer that caused doctors to do more of a drastic surgery on me. The AB Circle Pro has helped me rebuild the strength and muscle that I needed in my abs since my surgery several years ago. It's good to get feeling back again and the confidence I once felt....I've dropped from a size 16 in jeans to a size 10-11 now. If you'd like to see before and after pictures of me, please email me at lsmswm@gmail.com

I don't know if the equipment works or not but I can assure everyone that Jenifer Nicole Lee didn't get that body using the AbCircle Pro. JNL is a model and fitness freak that owns a small apparel company called JNL. I met her about 6 and a half years ago in one of her photo shoots for one of her calendars. She already had the amazing body she is showing off in the infomercial for AbCircle Pro.

I am 19 years old and an avid boxer. I got into an accident and was out for almost 8 months. I was depressed and gained about 30 pounds. I saw this on TV and thought it was an easy way out. WRONG. Waste of money, waste of time, sold it for half of what a paid for it, because hey, if you are bored, its kinda fun. After my ordeal with that garbage, all i did was little things, i walked instead of drove short distances, i ran in the morning, and started hard workouts again. I lost all the gained weight and regained my tone in my midsection. The girlfriend loves it lol. Just beware this company, and lose weight the hard way. You will feel much better about yourself.

Let's put it this way if i could use a ab circle pro i would not need it...you ever notice that the people using the equipment are not people that are hugely overweight or out of shape like the people that need to be using it....i find that most doctors recommend swimming or water aerobics less stress on the body and burns off just as much fat/calories and you don't sweat yourself to death ,and if you don't know how to swim you can learn at the same time working on yourself(losing weight/getting in better shape)...so the short answer is it is only worth it if you use it and it works for you as a individual..me personally i can think of better ways to spend a 100 or 200 dollars especially in this economy...
I have been looking at reviews and so far there aren't a lot of good ones. I did find one review on a web site dedicated to reviewing ab workout devices and it is trainers that give their views.
They felt that the "treadmill for your abs" is a bunch of BS. They said you would need at least 20 minutes on the machine to reach your heart rate for aerobic activity.
Their suggestion is a balance ball. They said it is cheaper and you can mimic the exercises that you can do on the Ab Circle Pro and you can even do a wider range of activities.
The true answer is no one machine is going to magically get you in shape. A lot of hard work and a calorie restricted diet is the only way.
Good luck

Hi I would just like to say that I have not purchased this product but if you go to the website, Ab Circle Pro.com, it says that you may try the product for 14.95$ for 30 days and CLEARLY underneath that it says plus shipping and handling! All in all this product will cost about 240$ to buy out right. I probably would not buy this product because I don't trust t.v. Ads but people don't be so naive! NOTHING is that cheap!

My son received his ab circle pro yesterday and when he positioned himself to use it the metal support bar collapsed, it was corroded inside and he fractured his wrist.I've been trying to get in contact with them though they won't take the claim seriously so i am going to sew them.
I've tried it for a few weeks and it didn't do anything for me. I didn't feel anything in the abs area as I'm doing it, and instead I felt lower back pains after 5-10 minutes on the equipment. I'm barely 5'0" and so wonder if the equipment is just not meant for very short people like me. My boyfriend is 6'2" and tried it for a few minutes; he said he could feel it in is oblique area.

This product is totally worth it. I absolutely love it. I saw the
infomercial on shoptvcanada.com
and im usually skeptical about buying
anything off TV but I gave it a go. I also changed my diet along with
using it. Like some people i went through a period of soreness but this is normal when you start working out especially if your a coach potato like me, getting into the groove of it was hard. So far i've lost about 10 poundsand for me thats a big step since i'm a big guy. I plan to keep using this product to shed more weight. Highly recommend this product.
I ordered my ab circle pro this morning. Then I came home and read the comments on this site. Well as with anything there is good and bad to be said about everything. Anyway I decided to cancel the order which was easy to do and I will wait til the day they either perfect it or it is being sold at target. For me personally 200.00 is money I can use on other things rather then a device that seems to be giving the majority of users problems. So I thank everyone for their honesty. I also want to thank engineer man. Everything you said makes perfect sense to me. Anything with ball bearings would need to be greased. But if I am spending 200.00 it better not need greasing or metal trim. It should be perfect until I have worked on it for at least a few months of wear and tear not a few weeks.

So, for all of you who are saying that you don't feel the burn in the abs, I don't think you understand ab workouts at all. I have never tried the ab circle pro, but from the looks of it there are two ways you can use it, one obviously being right and one wrong. The first way to do it, which i'm sure is a common mistake among people who are just beginning to work out, is just by swinging and using momentum to go back and forth. I'm sure doing this you don't feel any "burn" or anything, and it probably makes your body hurt. The second, and correct way to use it, would be to keep your abs tight and contracted, and to focus on your abs and ONLY your abs making your body move. Your whole movement should come from your abs, not by swinging your hips or legs. I know this because I got to 8+ workout classes a week at a local gym. After the first week, my back started severely hurting. But after discovering keeping my abs tight, not only did I see results in tightening my abs and defining them, but it solved my back problems as well. As far as the company, I'm sure they will try to rip you off. If I were to ever want something from an infomercial, I would buy it on Ebay. It's the easiest way to go because it's one solid price. This is how I bought crunchless abs, which was the worst investment ever. When I didn't like it, I turned right around and sold it again. Honestly, for all of you looking for an easy way to workout, join a gym and go to group exercise classes. If it's a set time, you'll be forced to go do it. It's also cheaper, and the basic human instinct is to compete with one another. What better motivation than a group full of people working out?

I think all of you complaining that you did not know it was 34.95$ to ship or that you would be charged 5 payments of 34.95$ should you choose to keep the machine after 30 days need to be a little more cautious when ordering products on tv or online. The ad on tv was clear that 14.95$ was a trial offer with 34.95$ shipping and after 30 days you would be charged the additional 5 payments. We all need to be a bit more diligent before we order on tv or online, read the fine print. Of course, the customer service people are going to be sketchy and keep info from you, that's their job. Wheel and deal. It's called the sales industry. I've working it for over 11 years and have yet to be deceived because I am cautious and do my research before purchasing a product.
I am not bitching at any of you, just feel you should be more careful.

Waste of money...if you have a computer swivel chair, turn it around, kneel on it, place your hands on the desk and there ya go.....same thing...there are way too many machines out there that can easily be done without spending money
I have been looking at it for months, wondering if I should try it. After reading all the negitive tales, I think I will pass, until it drops significantly in price and someone else offers to sell it. I researched it on
www.ripoffreport.com and the review was not good. I think I'll stick to old fashioned work outs.

Hi all,
I bought an Ab Circle Pro today on ebay and after reading every comment on here, have decided to help out with the question.
I intend on providing a well written (there's always one person in a forum complaining about peoples spelling), honest (I will tell you everything as it is and be open to questions if linked to my posts) and thorough account of what happens with my experience with this machine.
My following posts will be about my progress and thoughts about the A.C.P. But as I have only just bought it online, I will start with some basic info about myself and my purchase...like I said, this will be a complete and honest account.
SO....I am female, 23, and 66kg (145 lbs).
I intend on using the A.C.P. To lose about 7 kgs (15.4 lbs) and to generally tone my abs.
I bought the A.C.P. New on ebay for $200 AUS ($165 USD) today.
When I receive it I will try and provide information on quality, wear from use, ease of use, effectiveness in weight-loss and any injuries caused by the machine.
I also just wanted to say that 'Engineer Man' who has been posting has been very very helpful on this issue and to thank him for his input. Also the people who have come on and insulted peoples weights and spelling; I don't think this is fair as not everyone is educated to the same standard, others have learning disabilities, also some people have been in accidents and gained weight, and even if people are a tad 'rounded' just from being on the couch too much, they are here and they are researching ways to lose the weight, so insults are unnecessary.
Thanks for reading and I'll be back with more info when I have it.
I saw the infomercial this am, went to the website and started the order process, then decided to check what was being said about the Ab Circle Pro. I was most of the way through the order process, and then tried to back out to cancel (there's no cancel button as you are going through the different extras). I killed the window and an hr later had an email - thanks for ordering for $254.75. I called the contact number spoke to Victor who said, he couldn't do anything until the order was processed and to call back in 48 hrs. I checked my bank and no credit charge yet. Called my bank, have to wait until the charge has been posted, then I can dispute. I'm absolutely livid, that w/o completing the ordering process, that the order went through. Victor did say shipping would be in 7-10 days. I've sent back a reply to cancel my order and will be filing a complaint with the BBB. Thanks for all the info here.

My mom brought the Ab Circle and its so fun. I'm in college so I like it compared to going to the gym. If you suck in your stomach and do it for 10 min(Or LONGER!!!) instead of three, you will see results in like a month. But on a bad side if you weigh a lot, have bad back, or bad knees you will not like it and feel that it isn't doing anything or find it hurts you to do. My cuz is kinda chunky and she says its a bunch of bologna. (JEALOUS!) I used it for a while and I do min of 10 - 30 on it a day watching TV. It burns on my arms and ab area but I can proudly say I noticed a change in my waistline! I can fit some old jeans better then I could before so... I think its doing something. I don't know what, but at least its something.
BTW: My momma also brought hers from the shopping channel so it was cheaper. But customer service to the Ab Circle people directly sucks.
My advice if you get it... To do it like you are really working out. Don't do it for 3 min cuz i don't think that helps. Don't be lazy and work!

Don't waste your time or your money. It is no where as great as they claim it to be on the infomercial. I liked using mine but after a few short weeks it already is damaged due to the rollers scarping the red plastic paint. You really have to use it for a long time to feel it working at all and after being on it any longer than those "3 minutes" your knees start to hurt and trying to pad them causes you to slide. It also really hurts my back. You definitely get more of a workout doing 3 minutes of situps....I recommend that over this by far! It's way too expensive.

I've had one for 3 weeks and it has certainly made a difference to my posture.I have had 2 lower back operations over the past 4 years and had ongoing muscle tightness over that time.I have spent approximately 55 mins total on the machine and have virtually no lower back muscle tightness. On the down side the machine didn't last any longer and one of the swing arms snapped off! Effective exercise machine but quality could be improved.Am sourcing a new one that will hopefully last longer than the last
I also bought this machine. My knee pad is cracked as well and the wheels strip the paint. I also have to put extra padding on the knee pads so I don't get bruised and so I do not slip off. Of course I am not taking it back because that in itself is a hassle. It is a shame that it cost so much and it falls apart so easily. I use it for 3 minutes every day and the only thing so far I would say works is that it is cardio and it works the sides of your abs. I have yet to feel it on the front part of my stomach. So because I have paid for it and I am not sending it back, then I will get the best use of it I can. I have looked on the website to try and find replacement knee pads but do not see it. What a disappointment.

????how much does this machine weigh assembled.? Have lifting restrictions.
Definitely worth the price. Although it is very poorly constructed, it's the best ab workout I've tried in the past year. Even doing 5 minutes, you can really feel that it was worked when you wake up the next morning. I don't use it every day because of time issues but I do tend to use it 3 to 4 times a week and in the past 3 weeks I have definitely noticed that my gut is slowly getting smaller.

With any kind of a deal that says "ONLY $$$ FOR A 30 DAY TRIAL!", you should think twice!
That is the company's way of getting the full amount! Even if you call before the trial ends, they will always swear you didn't and take your money anyway. They know after a while you will give up the fight, and keep the equipment. Notice the way they don't tell you what the actual purchase price is???

I just got it a week ago; I do find it useful for a cardio workout but that's it; no abs burning as advertised! I can get my cardio in many other ways without paying $200. The main problem I have with it is that it's REALLY uncomfortable on my knees and there's already really bad wear on the rim after only a week of using it; my guess is that it won't last even six months. I'll be returning it.

I was curious about who Jennifer Nicole Lee was and did a web search, on one website she looses the weight with the fitness model program and on the ab circle pro she looses the weight with the ab circle pro. Interesting to note that the same picture of her is used in a pink bikini as a before picture the two websites. I sent an email to her through her website and guess what?!!! She has never replied it. It is interesting how looses 80 pounds on one program and 70 on the other. Unless she was 150 pounds overweight, I don't see how she can attribute the weight loss to just one program on the 2 different websites. I would have appreciated the truth that the ab circle pro needs to be used on conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise program and not that she lost the weight solely on the ab circle pro. Don't get me wrong, I admire her body but please don't find a product and teach a model how to use it and then have her advertise that she used it to get her body to where it is.

I think it is funny how people don't listen to a word of what is being said when you call to order or find out information on this machine. I just received mine and yes I knew that there was shipping and handling and yes I knew that it was non-refundable. Everyone had the opportunity to out right buy the machine for a major discount instead you all chose to do monthly payment which of course is going to be more expensive. How long have you all been alive? Everything in life is that way it's like you all just work up yesterday... The truth is if you don't have something to complain about then you just don't know what to do with your day and that is completely pathetic. As for the Ab Circle Pro I just received mine today and assembled it. I have got on it and I can definitely see how it will be a benefit. I don't like the legs and back end part of it that doesn't seem beneficial at all but definitely the abs portion I am sure will show results. Bottom line anything you do will always help but you are going to have to focus on diet as well. So this machine is not built for someone who is 300 lbs. But isn't that why they have the band and the bypass. Really how much does everyone weigh who is complaining. I am a mother of 3 boys and weigh a whole 122 lbs. I think that I am gonna love it...

Its a scam I get set up in March and with that payment and four additional I was done on July 2, 2009 so each payment taken on the 2nd of each month so to my surprise I check my bank account on 07/31/09 nothing out of ordinary then at about 2:00 p.m I check my account again and they deducted another payment so while at work on break try to call them and after being busy or disconnected I finally get a live person who can't find my account they did misspell my last name but still couldn't find me then they searched address phone number and even credit card number and no record of me how funny when they took money from my account when I was done paying it off and on the 31st not 2nd and they have run a payment a saturday pretty interesting I was told to call back with my invoice number I'll have to see what happens but if not resolved I'll have to dispute with my back I'll see what happens oh yea and I've barely used it it just sits there and you better make sure not using on wood floors or get a mat under cause it will slide

I ordered it, and it cam within a week. They do try to sell you everything but the kitchen table when you call, but that's expected. It took about 5 minutes to get used to, and then I was off. The next day, I felt it in all the right places. Now, my knees were KILLING me, and I use knee pads, not so sexy, but it's the results I'm after here. Also, you do need to concentrate when you us the machine, but this just assures that you are at peak performance, and that you will get the results that you are looking for. I have lost 10 pounds in a week, but I will admit that I am strictly watching my diet as well. I am working hard at this, I know the weight won't come off on it's own! So to answer the question, it does work, get KNEE PADS and hang in there! Tip: Flex your abdomen while doing this exercise, it seems to im rove results. Oh, and is it worth the money? Hmmmm...... Depends I guess. If you get the results you're looking for yes, but NOTHING is a miracle machine, duh!

Not a good product at all. It is only good if you want black and blue knees, and if you want to pay $200 to get it. I have one and will be paying again, to send the product back. It is false advertising, because they say it only costs $14.95, plus one time shipping fee of 34.95, but now i have to dish out more $$$ to send it back to them.

I purchased it a couple of weeks ago. It showed up at my house last week. My 19yr old son put it together for me. I came home tried it for about 20mins. And thought maybe this will work???
My husband (170lbs.) decided to get on it and split the knee cushion. We went to put it back in the box to send it back and accidentally dropped the other knee piece. It hit the floor, split in half, and oily bearings shot out everywhere. I just hung up from the "Ab Circle" company. I originally paid $53.41 for shipping and the trial fee. I used it once before it fell apart and they will NOT return a penny to me, they want me to pay to ship it back, and they can't stop my next credit card payment from going through until they receive the machine back which is due in 3 days. So I either pay over night shipping, or they will take a second payment which they "promise" they will refund eventually. They young boy just kept saying "Sorry Mam, we don't have any managers here". I believe if those who stand behind a product can't back it up with customer service, it's a scam!!!!. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

I would suggest anyone considering a purchase of Ab Circle Pro to read: I've had mine for 4 days. I am a healthy middle aged mom with extra lbs on the tummy. The first time I tried Ab Circle Pro, I slid off the knee pads. Pulled arm, bruised hip and scraped skin off my knee.
If you have pre-existing back or knee problems I would advise against Ab Circle Pro. My knees are very sore. They feel bruised. In my opinion, the knee device is poorly designed and is definately uncomfortable. I agree with other comments about the quality of this product, it is a poor design and not sturdy. I have spent the $234 for it, I will continue to use and try to reach my goals. I would not recommend this product!

I order one of these. Big mistake. I am almost 5'10 and I can barely do the thing due to it not being made for tall people. Also, it is cheaply cheaply made. It could not have cost more than $40 to make the thing. The wheels are not smooth. Definitely not worth getting. Hope that helps!

I have been using mine for about two weeks now and I was nervous after reading these reviews, but I really like it. I did notice it was very hard on the knees, but I was able to solve that first, by putting little bits of memory foam in the knee cups and second, turning them backwards so I wasn't sliding out of them. Since then, I can definitely feel a difference and my boyfriend has noticed a difference already.
I do five sets of 30 reps each morning and I've been very happy with my results.
It will not make you lose weight any more than any other machine if you don't really work at it and yes, I had to make those adjustments to make it comfortable for me, but in my opinion, I'm getting a good ab workout and it sure beats sit-ups. I hope that was helpful.

WOW what a bunch of whiners. I have this machine and my entire family loves it! OF COURSE it's not going to make over your whole body, you have to eat right and get plenty of other exercise, it's just a less monotonous way to work on your abs. Stop whining and get your butts on it and work out already.

I got mine 3 days ago.
I'll break down the pros and cons that I have found so far.
PROS:
1.) It was shipped relatively quick.
2.) I assembled it pretty easily.
CONS:
1.) IT KILLS YOUR KNEES- so I tried putting kitchen towels in the knee pads for extra padding and that makes your knees slip out.
2.) the machine the first 2 days glided really smoothly, but now on the 3rd day I find the wheels it glides on are rubbing against the plastic disc and it's now making all sorts of noises and causing friction to the point that it interferes with the gliding motion.
3.) I have used it for the last 3 days and have yet to have any sort of feeling like my abs or 'love handles' have been exercised. There's no burning or lactic acid feeling like what happens when you have gotten a TRUE muscle workout. And I have it cranked on the highest/hardest position possible.
So my opinion:
WASTE OF MONEY.

As a bodybuilding figure competitor, I know first hand that in order to get six pack abs, you'll need to modify your diet and do lots of cardio exercise to burn the fat off your midsection. I do basic crunches and leg lifts either on a weight bench, floor, or stability ball twice a week and that's even when I'm preparing for a contest. Nothing irks me more than to see these useless equipment being touted on the TV that make empty promises. Please folks, save your hard earned money and do it the old fashion way - diet & exercise.

I purchased the Ab-Pro in August and it is definately not for people that are obese. The knee pads killed my knees. My knees hurt so much that finally this month my knees are feeling better!!!
I was only on the pads for a couple of minute's, the knee pads are very hard.
This should have been explained that for larger people this is not feasible to use.

There is No way that its worth the price!
It isn't a bad idea, they just didn't put enough time into the design of this product plus they choose to make it out of cheap plastic. The only way that I would pay 200 dollars for this is if they made the knee holders so that they didn't hurt and come off while youre using it. And of course, if they made it out of sturdy materials, unlike the plastic they threw it together with.

Don’t order this thing (ab circle) it’s a rip-off they say 60 or 30 day guaranteed trial but then they charge you everything they can. Is it was $35 to get it 14.95 to try it and then if you don’t like it under you 60 day trial ( we had it 25day) then you have to pay them to have it shipped back, for a total of around 90 dollars what a rip off. So unless you plan to keep this thing, don’t buy it.

I have also been inquiring about purchasing the ab circle pro. I do believe that it works as with almost any product out there, it depends on the usage. I am more concerned with the similar complaints noted on the posts. I guess it depends on how bad you want the machine and what you are willing to put up with. It is apparent that there are some flaws with the product. Hopefully the company is viewing this site, and I have the feeling any site and is willing to make the changes needed to make the item worth the price. Good luck.

I am so happy I read this blog. I ordered an Ab Circle Pro and received it 2 weeks ago. The first time I used it, the screws in the middle kept on loosening up and one whole leg thing would fall off. I called the company and they said they would send me new screws and it would take 5 days. It has now been 8 days and I still haven't received the screws. I was getting so antsy to use it that my husband used some locktite on the screws that it came with and fixed it that way. So, I used it 2 more times and now the roller on the right leg is so wore down that it won't roll, it only slides along which causes more friction and now it is flat on one side. I again called the company and they are sending me new rollers. I read on this blog that it helps to put petroleum jelly on the ring that the rollers go on, and it works! I finally got one good workout on it. I just hope I don't have any more problems. I hate to send it back for a refund, cause I would still be responsible for the cost of shipping it to me and then shipping it back. If I sent it back, it would be $70 out of my pocket and nothing to show for it. All I can say is very cheaply made. I just hope it works like they claim it does.

I bought the ab circle pro after seeing it advertised on TV, I really decided to sus them out before going ahead with the purchase.
The first unit that arrived was unstable, and the knee pad got a crack in it, the overall build quality of the unit is not up to standard. HOWEVER! I must say, it doesn't take 3 minutes per day, that's for sure... I do around 8 - 9 Minutes per day on the ab-circle pro, combined with a very good diet. If you are eating junk food, and using the ab-circle pro, it simply will not work!
They send you a nutritional book which is helpful, as well as a 3 minute DVD workout.
Follow what she does, but do it for much longer than suggested.
It will get your heart rate up, and a decent workout is needed, there is simply no "get fit quick" option out there.
In terms of getting rock hard abs, sorry.. Get on the floor and do your sit ups and running, it's the only way.
Eat healthy, use the ab-circle every day, 2 times a day if possible, for at least 8 minutes per session, and you will see significant weight loss, and semi tone.
I found customer service to be relatively helpful in my position as I phoned them questioning the quality, and demanded a new one.
Well after reading all the answers to this question... Face the facts, its not worth it... I will keep on walking... Its free and as long as I keep the calorie intake to 1500 or less, I will keep losing weight. Remember slow and steady wins the race... In the end... And we all need our knees in good condition to keep on awalkin...
I would defnitely cancel that card. I don't understand when people complain about being charged month after month like they have no control. Cancel the card and get another one. Takes about a week but well worth the peace of mind. I always go to every comment site on the web before ordering anything!!! But if I do and get a bad vibe I call my credit card company and ask for a new account number, whay take chances whena shady company has your credit card info?

Engineer Guy reporting again, I am at the 7 week mark with the ab circle, and I can say that I am very satisfied with the reduction in my gut even with only limited dieting. Using this machine, my stomach looks better than ever, although I have only taken off 10 pounds or less (starting at 197). I still have had Zero problems with my knees or anything else. It also makes a good stable inclined push-up base (using the handles to support yourself, feet on opposite side as "circle") and I have used it for this since day 1. The materials used for the machine are not the best - although if you use it at a SLOW pace of 90 counts in 3 minutes, with shoulders centered, the stresses on the machine will be greatly reduced and the durability will be much better - but you will still work up a sweat! As in my other comments - reduce roller friction with THIN coating of vaseline on top surface. It sounds like the company is terrible to deal with so if I was buying one now I would look for lightly used ones (since so many people give up on it almost immediately) on eBay. I personally didn't have a problem with the purchase of my machine. If you know how to count, I wouldn't recommend paying extra for the electronic monitor - its not that useful. If I had to do it again, I would still pay the $200 purchase price knowing what I know after having used this for 7 weeks. (other equipment I have bought in past includes: Rowing machine, weight bench, stationary bicycle, exercise ball, exercise bands, ankle weights)

Follow your gut! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! If I had followed my gut, I would not have this headache. I have not even received the Ab Circle Pro and is already having issues with the company. The number on the infomercial is automated; I wanted the $14.95 trial, and they charged my account the full price. They never confirmed if the full payment was correct, but they asked me to purchase additional products three times each. Customer service will not refund my money until they receive the product. I had unquestionable doubt, and did not follow what I was feeling deep, down, inside. When I called the first time I hung up the phone, and then called back. When the automated system asked me for my card number before I had the total price, I let them ask me about five or six times before I put in my number. We all know what must be done to achieve the results we want. None of these products will make it happen for us. These infomercials play into people like us. We want to believe for the best but our gut is telling us something else. I don't believe all infomercials are crap, but most of them are. I think if we have any apprehensions then its not the product for us. You know what you must do........DON'T BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not tried "Ab Circle pro", but I think I will get one and some knees pads.
Wal-Mart sells "Ab Circle Pro" on their web site. There is no shipping charge if you pick up at the Wal-Mart store, there is a tax $17.86 (ca.), other wise 0.97 cents for shipping.
K-Mart is selling the AB Circle Pro for $199.99 same as the tv but you don't have the shipping cost. I'm still waiting for it to come down a little more than that.
I truly think this will work if you do exactly what you're suppose to do along with diet and exercising on this machine.

That wa my initial thought but my husbands mom and sister have one and after using theirs for 2 days my husband and I have both noticed a significant difference in our abs!! I cant wait to get one!! His sister has lost over 2 inches already in the few weeks that they have had one. I think it is pretty well put together. Its a metal disk and metal bars. I think the knee cups are a dense foam and my knees did slide out a little bit. But very tolerable for the workout I received! My husband loved it. I could see the difference in his stomach in the first day!! To each their own I guess. Im completely happy with the product. As long as you use it correctly and for the recommended workout times I dont see how you could dislike this.

I ordered the Ab Circle Pro and got it in yesterday. I worked out on it as well as some of my family. All four of us felt the burn in the same areas. All of us are different weights. My arms seems to burn for the longest. You are having to hold your self in the petition for how ever long you exercise so it definitely works them. I felt the burn in my abs almost immediately. Today i exercised as soon as i got up. The burn was harder and deeper this morning. I have never used anything that worked this good, at least to begin with. Most of them take days to feel this much of a burn. All in all i love the Ab Circle Pro. I would recommend it to anyone who would ask. I bought my on Ebay for only 150. Brand new never opened. Worth every penny. I will write back soon and tell you if i have had any visible results. ( i wrote my measurements down so i could check in a week. I'll try to write back then. ) Oh and mine was very well made, also u will want to wear pants with it, it does rub your knees if you dont.

I trialled an ab circle pro at a cost of NZ$29.70 for 30 days . In the first few days I noticed the wear and tear from the rollers on the red paintwork, that the clip holding the knee pads together kept coming unhinged and the knee pads themselves to be hard wearing on my knees. While I agree, as other commentators have said, that controlled use is necessary to target the abs , that information is not provided. On that note it wouldn't hurt for the TV SHOP to go that little bit further by providing a "how to" information sheet of helpful tips on its use to increase the satisfaction of its customers and those new to the machine. After all for the NZ$427-95 full price that it cost me for my failure to send it back in time, it seems the least that the TV Shop could do.
So would I recommend it. NO!!!

After reading almost all of the comments and reviews, my daughter started to think of cheaper alternatives . As she was sitting on an office chair at the time, she turned and knelt on that facing the back of the seat and began to pump her arms and twist her torso replicating the action of the ab circle. Guess what ???????? It worked ! It works your abs and it was free .... We already owned the chair. So, our recommendation is skip the $200 and after web-surfing try 'office -surfing' Have fun !

Not worth it. They took my money and it took over 3 months to get it. The fitness vitamins get sent even if you don't want them, and took 3 calls to get them canceled. As for the A b Circle Pro, it has not helped my waist at all. Too expensive for nothing.

I haven't used the Ab Circle Pro yet, although I have tried to order it 3-4 times. It's a hassle trying to get the thing and customer service is terrible.
They were very eager to take my credit card info. When I called to check on the status of the order they gave me some story about how they have no control over and contact with the warehouse. They had no idea of when it was going to be shipped out although I was initially told it would be 5-10 day. They would not let me speak to anyone else to get some answers and DIG
THIS: They actually tried to sell me another one for a friend or family member at 30% off when I hadn't received the one I ordered.
DONT' EVEN BOTHER WITH ORDERING IT! IT'S NOT WORTH THE HASSLE!

Yes me and my 15 year old sister purchased a used ab circle on craigslist for 100.00 and yes the quality of craftsmanship is not too great and my sister at 250 says her knees feel unstable and that it doesn't balance well but if you watch the video it tells you to slow it down a bit! I however am at 140 and i have no trouble at all with the balancing and after one week my neighbors have been commenting on mine and my sisters weight loss and they have especially noticed my mid section area! It works trust me try it! Lower your calorie intake and do the 3-5 mins a day and you'll see the difference!

If you use it then it's worth the money. People who buy something and then don't use it can't complain about it not working for them. Get on it and use it, you will see results. It's better then not working out at all. $200 is not that bad, better spent on a workout machine then $200 on junk foods on your grocery list. If you add up the money spent on food, that's what you should be complaining about. I think it's priced fair, as long as you buy it at the store and can cut down cost of Shipping. I got mine at Sports Authority and had a coupon if you spent $100 you get $25 off. So total cost for mine was 175.00, no shipping, and I carried it to my car myself. I put it together myself in 15 minutes. The knee pads are my only complaint, so if you have bad knees or back, do not buy this. Otherwise it a fun ab workout, go buy it.

Don't waste your money! I fell for the infomercial back in June and now we're in November and I'm hoping this is my LAST PAYMENT of $39.95!! It's been sitting in my reck room collecting dust for the last 4 months. First of all, the only thing I could only feel it tightening was my neck and shoulders. Yes, it did get the heart rate up, but my neck was killing me. I had to put knee pads on for cushion and to keep my knees from sliding out of the holders. You will NOT lose weight by using this....you will lose weight on ANY low calorie diet plan, whether it be the one included or one you GOOGLE for FREE. The lady that advertises this is already a FITNESS TRAINER, so she got in shape by working out...not by this! I ended up getting the "slim in 6" workout DVD set and that has got me toned up way beyond anything this stupid thing ever could've!! I get mad every time I get my VISA bill and see the $39.95 charge on it!! DON'T BUY IT!!

I got mine about a month ago. I liked it but it hurt my knees. I just found a site on ebay that sells the booties that cover the knee bowls on the ab circle pro. It made such a difference. I have been actually staying on it longer with no pain! I got a zebra print so it looks cool too!

Ok so everyone has been complaining how it doesn't work on them as fast as they say on the commercial... Maybe thats because you have to eat right also! HELLO! I wouldn't doubt if more then half of the complaining people eat tons of junk food and then go on the machine expecting to loose weight! Well you have to eat healthy while your trying to loose weight!
It's a no-brainer...
Come on america!

When I first found this sight the other day I thought there are enough people here telling the truth about this machine to warn people against buying it. Then I seen the commercial again on TV and realized the machine they actually sent us while similar has some important differences that make it inferior to the machine they are distributing.
We received this product on the 9th of October 2009 and I put it together right away . My wife and I both worked out on it ten minutes the first two days. The concept of the machine is a great idea and the workouts where real good. The third day I got on it and did a work out but i noticed it was rolling rough. My wife got it on after a little bit to do a workout and she said its not right something is wrong. So with further inspection we found that the rollers had grooves wore into them from the circular bar they ride upon. The machine was now useless after three days. Let me say that my wife and I both weight around 185lbs. And this machine is rated for up to 250lbs.
On Monday I called the rep for the company and told them that after just three days the it wore out. She said she would send some replacement rollers. After two weeks no rollers. I called and got return authorization. S&H 35+ S&H 35 + 15= $85 to learn this lesson. The machine you see on TV has rollers on a flat surface not round and they are different than the rollers you get with machine. Dont fall for this.
The machine that is being pitched and advertised is not the machine you actually get. I did not realize it till I seen the commercial and after actually having had the machine.
This company has a win win here even if nobody keeps the machine they make millions. Check this out : Lets say there are 300 million people in the US and 3 million purchase and return this product they keep the 15 dollar trial fee. 3 million times 15 = 45 million. They have no incentive to actual sell a good product that performs as expected.
This is a great concept for a work out machine but it is being made cheaply and distributed.
This review sight is suppressed in the search engines by what i believe are hundreds of false reviews claiming this machine is great. I came upon this sight by accident. I only wish I had seen these truthful reviews before I purchase this scrap metal. Rick

Hey guys, do not buy it on the web, it is out in the store, I saw it today at BG's so it should be everywhere pretty soon. The price is $200.00 and you don't have to pay for the shipping fees.
It did look o.k. But I will wait for Walmart to get it, so if I don't like it I can return it.

Well i got mine last week as a gift, honestly i would NOT pay 200 plus out of my pocket for this machine. It is cheaply construct. The knee paddles are horrible. They should have make them of a better quality. As far as loosing weight. Yes i have lost some pounds but its cuz im doing the 1,000 calories per day. But this expensive machine does help with the target areas and they are getting flatter but if you are looking for a miracle. NO this machine is not going to disappear those extra lbs if you dont COUNT your calories and keep on a diet, and at least you must do 30 minutes daily of abs circle. Im 26, with healthy knees but this machine does need more work to it. Or sell it cheaper which is not going to happen soon. Whoever bought one, REmember the infomercial that got you in to it? Well my friend you are paying for that infomercial. Cuz honestly the machine is not worth that much. REMEMBER LOW CALORIES are the ones that get you skinny not the abs circle.

Honestly.... I was going to get this, but after reading all of the comments on here.... I'll just stick with Zumba Fitness. I've only been doing it a month. I kinda "overkill" it with 9- 1 hour classes a week... But it burns around 1200 calories a class. So far in just over a month I've lost 30 lbs and 15+ inches. I would still like to find something else to add to this though. Zumba is more fun and feels like going out and dancing. I'd like to find something where I really feel the burn, not too much, but just enough to want to do more. I also walk/run on the treadmill and use the total body workout gym.... Which is awesome. But I'm still at 212 lbs. Grrrr! Lol I even talked to a Registered Dietician and they have me on a special meal plan, so I know it's not my food intake! :)
Thanks though for saving me about $250!

No, it doesn't seem to work. First of all it moves too much so you move all over the place and hit the couches, tables etc while you're trying to work out. The other thing is, is that it doesn't hurt anywhere so i don't thing it works any muscles.

This could be made into a good and fun product if the knee holders were larger and much, MUCH softer. The swinging back and forth is actually pleasant and you can feel it in minutes, but I have hardly used it at all because it really hurts my knees. All of your weight is on your knees. They advertise it for losing weight, but for an overweight person, the knee holders are just too small and too hard to hold much weight. I was searching on their website for some sort of adapter, but found none. I searched for appropriate knee pads and bought some expensive ones, but my knees slide off the knee holders when I wear them. Someone else suggested that they use gel and padded material for the knee holders. That sounds like a good idea. They could offer replacement knee holders which would just screw on like the ones that come with it.

OMg what a sham, I was seriously considering to buy this non working piece of equipment especially at the trial price but after reviewing just a few comments (not even half the page) I think i'll reconsider. Thanks guys for making skep's like me aware.

I got my AB Circle Pro last week and I had a few problems with it. But it works fine now.
I had apply to " Vaseline Petroleum Jelly" to the rollers so the rollers would move more smoothly..
And I had to lower the red disk so my knees would not slide out of the knee cups.
Other then that no problems with this product, It works fine.
Note:
AB Circle Pro is offering "free upgrade roller kits", Contact their customer care for that.
I see that Finger hut Catalog is selling AB Circle Pro for $119.99
(Finger hut.com). A big drop from $199.99 at other stores.
Im with you - but did succumb and now wish I hadn't. I think I am using the machine the correct way but the central locking pin keeps coming out when Im mid swing leaving me in the lurch - has any one else had this problem?
